Hello, friends especially DIYers!

On Sunday i went to KKV, a place where you could find many interesting things, from food to hobby supplies, cosmetic to house needs, et cetera.

There i found a place where they sold DIY paint by numbers kits which made me interested. They had many variants of it.

I was in love with the picture of cartoon princesses in it. Luckily they had some of it.

I took one and i turned it around. They gave the how to there. OKAY, that time i decided to buy it.

This was the front part

And this was the back.

At home i opened the plastic then i found canvas with princesses picture and numbers on it. They also gave two brushes and nine colors of oil paint. This was my very first time to paint on canvas with oil paint.. so i was excited and nervous.

I started to paint from the softest color which was number one, ivory color for the princesses skin. I tried so hard at first cause i had not use to do this. But then i relaxed and could do it smoothly.

Now that i finished the skin part.

I needed to continue to the soft pink part for the cheeks. It was number 2. I then realized that the bigger brush they gave was better than the smaller one. So then i decided to use the bigger one, for all.

Finished with the soft pink color, i started with the soft yellow color for some parts which was number 5. Then continued to the soft blue color which was number 7. Then yellow color which was number 6. After that, i color orange reddish color for one of the princess hair which was number 4.

After finished, i continued to paint with the brown color for number 8. Then, color pink for some parts included the background. This pink color was number 3. And last, i colored black for some parts which had number 9 on it.

Finally after around 6 hours of painting, i could finished my DIY paint by numbers. I am really satisfied with the result.

6 Hours of work to paint everything? I really loved the final result, it looks very professional and the illustration is very nice, you have to have a lot of passion and patience to do these things. How long did it take for the canvas to dry? I have the bad habit that when I paint something I can't wait and I'm touching it with my hands to see if it has dried hahaha.

Haha i didn't count the hour until it all dried... but i did it in two different days with some spares in between so that the first parts dried first then the continuing parts i did later. Thanks a lot :)
