Weekend engagement 212: Analyzing the things I take for granted.
In reality, I have never asked myself this question in such depth, it is interesting to think about all the things we take for granted in life, without a doubt, it is considered natural to assume certain situations as normal, without questioning them too much, however, this Reflection has led me to more critically analyze three aspects of my life that, until now, I had taken for granted without noticing:
➤ Money: I have never had a steady income, a stable job or large financial income, but I have always managed to stay afloat thanks in part to taking advantage of the opportunities that have been presented to me, so curiously, money, in one form or another , has always reached me.
➤ Internet: In Venezuela, the internet connection is unstable and failures are frequent, despite this, I always find a way to connect, whether with a neighbor's Wi-Fi, a telephone line or a nearby location, in fact, currently I don't have internet at home, but I still manage to be online.
➤ Cell phone: During my undergraduate thesis, as a result of the academic load, the preparation of the thesis and work, I was prompted to make an extreme decision: stop using the cell phone. This decision, initially temporary, became an indefinite custom. I found communication via email and social networks from my laptop a calmer alternative and free of the anxiety that phone calls generated in me. Curiously, since 2014 I have only purchased a single cell phone. However, I have received several as gifts, whenever a cell phone breaks, one appears in my hands almost instantly.
A small reflection that I can contribute before saying goodbye is that happiness does not depend exclusively on the things we take for granted, but being aware of them makes us appreciate life a little more.
Nice, short and sweet post.
You sound like you have the right mindset of adaptability and creating possibilities.
I'm like you too, and I'm not big on a mobile phone and find that it causes me anxiety sometimes. My husband likes to ping me with his random thoughts, whereas, I only send important messages. After a few pings get on my nerve, I simply mute my phone and check back periodically 😁
Have a lovely week ahead:)
You literally just described me 😅, sometimes I ghost people, I don't do it in a bad way and I think people understand it or at least those close to me do, since I am generally a very attentive person 😁
😂🤣
greetings! 😄
Keep up the good work. 👏🎵
Dear beloved Hive creator,
Coding poet Gudasol here to support you sharing your art + life on Hive.
As a fellow creator, I know how hard it is to get the word out there.
I built cXc.world to help creators like us get more support from the blockchain community + beyond.
Share your music on cXc.world, and copy the Markdown for a easy post includes embedded players for Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud.
That way, you can earn HIVE + stack streams on centralized platforms, as they do still matter.
Not a music creator? No problem. You can still use cXc.world to find + share music you love.
What's next?
Preview the next evolution of cXc, Tetra.earth.
Expose local music from your area!
We're helping grassroots musicians, and you can too by adding their music (no sign up or WAX account required).

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋
We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.
For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
