Weekend-Engagement 170: Living our best life

Hello everyone, happy weekend, it's finally Friday and I couldn't be happier about it, this week seemed long since it was full of commitments and work but it's finally time to rest a little and what I most want to do This weekend is being able to lie down on the couch with my girlfriend, put on the latest season of “The Good Doctor” and do a marathon. I can't wait any longer. I'm very anxious. I've been waiting all week for it to be Friday so I can get home and catch up on that series since I like it a lot. Anyway, getting into the main topic of the post, today I come to leave you my contribution to this week's Weekend Engagement, the truth is that all the topics are very interesting but "Living our best life" was the one that caught my attention the most, therefore was the one I chose to develop, I hope you find my participation entertaining, without anything else to add I will go directly to the topic:

Financial stability: I know this point is a bit obvious to everyone, but I would like to develop it in more detail since it is something that to a greater or lesser extent has affected my life as an adult, since I moved to live with my girlfriend in our house. In mid-2019 I have worked in everything, I have done all kinds of jobs both at home and for companies, always looking for the best way to improve my economy. Venezuela is a very difficult country to live in, the salary is very low and the products and services are very expensive, thanks to the skill that I have developed over time I have managed to stay afloat until now but it is something that is always in constant danger, basically I am one bad step away from falling into absolute poverty and that is something that constantly haunts me, one of the things I most long for in this life is to have a normal job, with a normal salary that allows me to cover my basic needs and indulge myself, that allows me to have dreams and aspirations, something like taking courses, learning more about electronics every day, enjoying time with my parents or simply traveling from time to time, unfortunately all those dreams are always overshadowed thanks to my constant goal of being able to survive financially.

Having a family: Another thing that I long for from a very young age is to start a family. At 29 years old, I feel somewhat incomplete because one of the things I would like most is to be able to have children and see them grow, things that some would not want and at the same time Maybe it is something that I want so much, I would like to have a family with several children and for them to bring life and energy to my house, things that seem mundane like having a house full of noise, screams and children playing everywhere is something that simply makes me happy. It seems adorable, I hope one day I will have the opportunity to try to be a good father and in this way give the best of myself, being able to be the pillar of a family and contribute my knowledge and experiences to the growth of other human beings, is something that It would make me really very happy.

Pursue my career: Something that I love and am very passionate about is electronics, it is a career so complex and full of details that even today, no matter how much I read and learn, I feel that I still lack a lot of knowledge to acquire, I completed my studies in engineering in 2019 and so far I have not had the chance to practice what I studied, it is something that demotivates me a lot because I feel that I have a lot to contribute in the work area but I simply have not had the opportunity to demonstrate it, I have sent many resumes to an innumerable number of companies and I have not yet been able to get a call to work, I still have not lost hope of getting a job in the area that I love so much but I feel that with each passing day the chances of me getting a job as an electronics are getting smaller. I do not have work experience in that area and as time goes by I will get older and companies will not want to hire me. This is a dream that I long for every day, that is, to pursue my career and be able to develop in the field of electronics. something that in a way would give more meaning to my life.

Anyway, I hope I have understood well the topic that I chose to develop, to be honest I got a little stuck on that topic since the description confused me a little but the way I understood it caught my attention and that's why in the end I did it.
