Area 15 is a psychedelic playhouse
This place was amazing!
Vegas is known for being a place where you can have some pretty cool experiences. One of the places I would highly recommend checking out in Vegas is Area 15.
Area 15 is an immersive experience that literally feels like it transports you to another dimension. Inside Area 15, there are a bunch of different things you can do and places to visit. It is basically a type of interactive psychedelic art exhibit.
There is a psychedelic art museum called Wink World that looks like it would be amazing to walk through. While I did not do mushrooms prior to going to Area 15, I think it would be the perfect place to do them. The only downside is that it can get a bit crowded, so you will want to make sure you don't do a high dose of mushrooms because it seems like it could get pretty overwhelming, but at the same time, it could be the most amazing trip ever.
The gift shop of Wink World is super cool. I talked to a few people that went through this place on mushrooms and they said it was the coolest thing at Area 15.
The place that we did go into in Area 15 was called Omega Mart. I didn't get many pictures in the first part of Omega Mart, which I regret. I smoked a joint before I went in and was pretty high for a while, but I think the majority of people in there was high as well.
On the surface, Omega Mart is a grocery store, and you can actually buy anything that is on the shelves there. It cost about $140 for my wife and I to go in Omega Mart. We did get a collectors edition entry that comes with a lanyard, a pin and we also got an Omega Mart employee badge as well.
Inside Omega Mart, there are places where you can scan your employee badge and it gives you information on your duties as an employee and information on Omega Mart itself. So while you are in the store front, you walk around looking at stuff and trying to find places to scan your card. Then things get pretty weird. As you explore the store, you begin to find out that there is a lot more to this place than just being a store.
This place is a massive interactive art exhibit that is full of secrets. I opened the freezer and it was a portal to basically another world.
After walking through one of the portals, we came into this large room that looked like a jungle. While we were in the room, there was music playing and stuff was being projected onto the walls. The art being displayed was so cool and it matched along with the music, but if you don't stop and sit down and watch, you will most likely miss it. Omega Mart is also like a scavenger hunt, and there were people trying to solve riddles and find things, so they were zooming in and out of the different psychedelic rooms. It was so cool to just sit in each of the rooms and take in all of the art and the message that they were trying to portray.
There were rooms that were just large caves and had trippy visuals all over the walls. We sat and watched the visuals along the caves and many of the visuals matched stuff that I had seen in mushroom trips or my ketamine treatments. There was one part where beings of light were on the walls and you could see their chakras glowing in their bodies. Then all of the Omega Mart workers, that were near the room when those beings came on, stood still and put their arms up. It was pretty weird how they all stopped when those beings were on the wall, so naturally, my wife and I put our arms up as well. Then the beings on the wall turned into bright beams of light that filled the entire room. It was a pretty magical moment that represented ascension.
Each room we went into was a visual playground. There were lights and patterns that seemed to dance with the music.
One of the rooms was an art project made out of layering paintings in glass. Each layer had its own LED lights that made the layer come to life. I would love to have something like this in my home.
The entire place was just so cool to walk around and look at the different art. Being high in here really allowed me to slow down and take it all in. One thing I would have loved is if there was a way to connect headphones to the different rooms so that you can have the music as loud as you want. That way you dont get any of the noise from the other people there.
I think we spent about three hours in here just wandering around looking at things. You can buy a season pass and come here as often as you want. I think that is what people that are trying to solve the puzzles must do because there is no way you can do it all in one shot. There are phone numbers hidden in the artwork, and you have you have to call those numbers using the phone booths that are set up in there. There are also computer stations in rooms that are set up like military bunkers that have top secret information on them. There is just so much going on in Omega Mart that I had no clue where to even begin. So we just spent the entire time soaking in all the art.
Even the bathrooms are a trippy work of art. From what I heard, the art in the bathrooms and one of the other rooms is a representation of a daydream that one of the alien beings had.
Nothing really makes much sense in Omega Mart and that really adds to the mystery of the place. Like why is this alien staring at me while I go pee?
Everything is so well thought out here and done with so much precision. I am not sure what the purpose of this plant with an eyeball and forked tongues coming out of it is, but it sure does look cool.
This room seems to be a simulation of what you see while on DMT. The mirrors in the room make it seem to go on forever.
Area 15 and Omega Mart arent for everyone, but if you are into trippy visuals and really cool art, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend visiting here for a really cool experience. I can only imagine how much better this place is on mushrooms though because it really seems like this place was made for trippin.
I hope to visit this place again on my next trip to Vegas. I will make sure to go into Wink World next time as well. They have passes you can buy for like $150+ that will get you into all of the different experiences of Area 15, but we didnt have the time for tha that because the U2 concert was later that night.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my post about Area 15. It probably didn't make much sense, but I think that is the point of Area 15. It is a strange and trippy place that forces you to think in a different way and just enjoy the moment you are in.

Vegas has so much cool stuff to do. I've heard they are considering legalizing mushrooms there, so there should be a lot more stuff like Area 15 opening soon.

Awesome post man.
These places are psychedelic labyrinths.
That DMT simulation looks super cool.
Thanks man. There were so many tunnels and secret paths all over the place. When we got home, we watched a video about the place and saw a few rooms we couldn't even find.
Area 15 looks very beautiful
One thing I love about the place is the lightning
They are very amazing!
Ya, the lighting is pretty cool there. It was a lot of fun.
Looks amazing! Might have to take a weekend road trip to Vegas to see this and the sphere! I'm only like four hours away by car…
If you've never been to Vegas, I highly recommend it. There is so much to do. It is getting super expensive though.
Whoa Man
Sounds like a weird but really fascinating place, and it could only be from Vegas!!!🙃 it would be really wicked for those living nearby they could go all the time.
It really is such a weird place. The creativity that went into creating this place is mind blowing.

Simply love this. Even though I have never been and don't think will ever be that person who is losing nights, I feel like I would love an experience in Vegas just for the sake of how many things it has to offer, including such projections and games of light. Stunning!
