CREATIVE SUNDAY// I MADE A PARTY POPPER

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog, its another creative sunday and this time i made my own party popper that I used in creating well wishing video for the hive learners communities as they hitted a milestone with having 5000 chain subscribers in the community.

THINGS NEEDED

• cardboard paper
• wrapping paper
• balloon
• sellotape
• scissors
• shredded paper
• ruler

cardboard paper

wrapping paper

sellotape

balloon

shredded paper

scissors

plastic ruler

THE PROCESS

STEP 1

I used a ruler to measure out the exact length i wanted from the cardboard paper, I measured out 20 inches for the length, then I measured out 47 inches for the breath, then i cut out the measured side.

STEP 2

I cut out almost same measure for the wrapping paper, the measurements for this differed a little, i added some extra inches to this measurement, 55 inches for the breadth but thesame 20 inches for the length

STEP 3

I gathered many wasted papers of different designs and colors and then used my scissors to cut them thinly. And I also cut the lower part of the balloon.

AFTER PREPPING EVERYTHING, YOU START BY;

  • you start by rolling the cardboard paper and giving it a cylindrical shape, after that you take sellotape, open and roll it out to gum the edge to avoid the paper opening.

  • secondly wear one side of the cardboard paper the balloon that was cut and also gentle gum it around with the sellotape.

  • thirdly you take your wrapping paper and roll it round the cardboard paper, then also gum the edge with the sellotape, then tuck the upper part inside and also use the sellotape to gum it inside.

  • lastly after wrapping, put the shredded papers inside the popper, draw the balloon and pop it out.

This is really beautiful! I think it would be more beautiful if you had put on an exciting smile 😅 not a serious face. I would probably try this out with your tips.
