A Friendly Christmas Budget Tips

A friend of mine always say “January has 120 days instead of 31 days” thats to say that January is very long and its going to be survival of the fittest, because everybody has got New Year’s resolution, new expenses and bills to pay, this December many people have spent alot and they are still going to spend without looking back because the month only just started, and to them its called detty december. Yes we have to celebrate christmas but not in such a way that after celebration, brokeness takes over and the bills one is supposed to pay up is starring at you face to face and nothing is been done.

Last Christmas was like that for me, cause I spent alot on hair, clothes, new pair of shoes and even skincare products, Lol..afterwards the new month started and I became so broke, and I started regretting somethings that I spent money because truth be told nothing I spent money recreated money for me at the long run, it was just on enjoyment and looking good for myself and I. This year is going to be quite different because I plan on doing something different entirely from what I did last year, although I’d still look good because why not!

Here’s some of tips on how I plan to spend and celebrate my Christmas. Firstly this is my list, so anything can work for anybody.

Firstly on my list is starting a small scale business, I do this business online too, which is selling of all types of Jewelries, so what am thinking of doing now, is going to market to buy some physical goods and waybill over to my brother’s girlfriend in the village so that she could help me sell them, some days back we discussed on it and I was so surprised on what she told me on how she was making money from the little things she do over there. So I believe if I venture into this december then January wouldn’t be hard for me.

Secondly, having a budget is very important, that would have been ontop of my list but I already kept that money aside, so having a budget on the things you should spend on this Christmas is very important, either on clothes, food, Christmas celebration items.

Third on my list is practicing some DIY decorations, we mustn’t buy everything, there somethings in our homes that very useful without us knowing that it is, if we go online and search for Diy decorations we would know and see those things that can help us in times like this.

Shop with cash, this might be very tricky but its better, infact leave your credit/debit cards at home, take the particular amount you want to spend and use it, I bet you ones you start making transfers from your phone or using card, you are bound to spend more than you planned.

Comparing of prices, we all know that things are very expensive, but some people still use it an advocate to reap people, so while trying to shop during Christmas also compare prices, its not a crime to do so..we make the money with our blood, sweat and tears. For instance yesterday my sister wanted to buy a bag of Nigerian Rice yesterday, she called her first customer he said it was N106,000 then called another the he said he would give her for N104,500.. thats huge price of N1,500, she quickly paid to the one thats lesser and saved the extra for transportation.

I believe this tips would go a long way if applied very well during this season, not worry about the newyear to come.

If you wanna make December detty you have to spend. It revolves around money and people get too carried away with it forgetting the coming month.

January having 120 days made me laugh the hardest 😅 🤣 😂 😃😃

It's always difficult to spend exactly as budgeted but it's doable when we apply self discipline
These are nice tips here dear

Yes it is, especially around this period but when you think about Jan with 120days😂, discipline will automatically be applied
