OH MY WEEKENDS!

Being a full time student in the university is very stressful, so i don’t like anyone interfering with my weekend plans. Plans can be changed by lectures who are are looking for makeup classes during the week days but weekends I don’t joke with it.

This week hasn’t been busy with lectures because we just finished our Teaching Practice (T.P). Though the school authorities didn’t give us any holiday. We were told to start lectures immediately. A very bad news to us, so both the general and the departmental course representatives dare not fix class. Cause not students have planned for at least a week rest after the stressful T.P. But even though their was no lectures the stress of moving to a new apartment occupied the week. This is not actually the limelight of today’s discussion.

Less I loss focus

Weekends starts from Friday to Saturday for me, some lecturers do fix class on Friday but anything after 12pm. The lecture must be a joker, cause if peradventure if some students show up that will be 10% or 20% of the total class. Most of the time after lectures on Friday, I love to sleep. My roommate actually do cooperate most of the time cause I woke up a sumptuous meal is waiting for me, but things didn’t turn up that way every time.

Sometimes I prefer watching movies or play games: car race or action games, oh the joy of killing my enemies!

Saturdays is for tutorials. I am the Academic Coordinator of my fellowship that means, God helping me, I need to watch over the academic life of the members. If I didn’t fix tutorial cause of one thing or the other. I love to visit my friends especially the one that bakes cake, I love cake, and getting it free actually adds to the joy. This reminds me of one Saturday. I actually went for free cake, but that faithful day she has a lot of orders from people and the time to pay for my free cakes come. My hands surfer a-lot that day, as a student she didn’t have all the instruments that makes making easier and faster. I had to help her mix butter and and sugar till it became fluffy, cut coconuts and tiger nuts although it was stressful, the process was actually hygienic and the experience was fun filled Sometimes I stay indoor to read or complete my assignments and sometimes I procrastinate in order to watch movies. Don’t judge me, Almost everybody is guilty of doing that.

Sunday morning is for learning more about God and the joy of taking pictures with my brethren, come to think of it we actually do that almost every Sunday . After church all I love to do is to sleep, or go over my notes cause of some lecturers that gives impromptu test.

Though my weekend is not usually that fun filled all the time. I love it whenever it is memorable
