Lucas and Leo are two puppies that have been part of our family for about 3 months. An acquaintance of my mother was giving several puppies for adoption and my mom wanted one of them because a few months ago her dog had died due to health problems.

Lucas y Leo son dos cachorros que forman parte de nuestra familia desde hace unos 3 meses. Un conocido de mi madre daba varios cachorros en adopción y mi madre quería uno de ellos porque hace unos meses su perro había muerto por problemas de salud.

I'm more of a cat person but when I saw Luca I fell in love, he is white with brown spots, while my mother was delighted by Leo. In general, stray dogs suffer a lot because they don't have a home or a family to take care of them. Nowadays some foundations are dedicated to solving this problem but it is very difficult for them because they don't receive any kind of governmental help and they have maintained thanks to donations and the support that some people give to them.

Yo soy más de gatos pero cuando vi a Luca me enamoré, es blanco con manchas marrones, mientras que mi madre estaba encantada con Leo. En general, los perros callejeros sufren mucho porque no tienen un hogar o una familia que los cuide. Hoy en día hay algunas fundaciones que se dedican a solucionar este problema pero es muy difícil para ellos porque no reciben ningún tipo de ayuda gubernamental y se han mantenido gracias a las donaciones y al apoyo que dan algunas personas.

Therefore, I believe it's very important to promote adoption because every day thousands of dogs and cats are born on the streets. In this same context, hundreds of pets are also abandoned daily because their owners have decided to emigrate or do not have the means to pay the expenses. Each one of them deserves the opportunity to live well because they have not chosen to be in that situation.

Por ello, creo que es muy importante promover la adopción porque cada día nacen miles de perros y gatos en las calles. En este mismo contexto, cientos de mascotas también son abandonadas a diario porque sus dueños han decidido emigrar o no tienen medios para pagar los gastos. Cada uno de ellos merece la oportunidad de vivir bien porque no han elegido estar en esa situación.

I think that from that litter from which Luca and Leo came out there were a total of 6 puppies, I don't remember very well but the truth is that we decided to take care of both of them to love them very much and take care of them. Where I live I can't have Luca with me so the deal was that both of them would live at my mother's house. Both have grown a lot since I took these pictures, Leo is the most energetic and likes to wake up my mother at 5 in the morning, Luca on the other hand is super serious and loves cuddles.
