My Actifit Report Card: November 2 2024

Today is day 28 of my #seven77 regimen. I went out today to Highlander Games for their Extra Life Game Day. Had fun, played some vintage Pokemon, and I showed off The Condemned to one of the patrons! It was fun, especially the vintage Pokemon. I haven't had the chance to play much vintage in a long time. Now that I have two vintage for play, I can introduce others to the wonders of vintage Pokemon! So I played a few rounds with one of the store owners. He now wants to make a vintage deck of his own. There were a couple magic players watching us who were floored by the cost of my Rain Dance deck. Literally. I built that deck for, like, $60? $70? Something like that. It really wasn't that expensive at all. And I cut my costs down by opting for the Celebrations Blastoise instead of the base set model. Saved me about $250. Still, even if I were to go for the originals, that's not bad for 25 year old cards.

I spent some time with my kids, had a meeting for an organization I volunteer for, and watched some Kind of the Hill with my wife. All in all, it was a good day!
