Dapp development is like writing a book.
Dapp development is like writing a book.
Hello, D.Buzz development enthusiasts!
Dapp development is like writing a book. It takes time and patience to write a book, and it takes time and patience to build an app. But, one page at a time and a line of code at a time, the story gets written and the Dapp takes life.
We are happy to say that we are well on track to meet our goal of pushing LITE to our public testnet (Next.D.Buzz).
Later this week (in 2 to 3 more days), we will be pushing the following updates to the LITE testing platform, and will be ready for testing.
- Commenting Functionality
- Follow / Unfollow Functionality
- Following Feed on Home
- Improved profile editing
- Improved signup process
This will make the majority of features that are available on DBUZZ available on LITE as well. Bridging the gap and bringing it all together. But we could not do this all alone.
We want to give a big shout to @vaultec from the @threespeak team.
The full @threespeak team is epic to work with on the LITE platform, and @vaultec is simply an amazing person to work with. They have been integral in the LITE framework development to date. Currently, @vaultec is working on upvoting and downvoting functionality and provides a lot of support in the full LITE development. (* Huge thank you!)
If you don't know about the SPK network, we recommend you learn more about it today at https://spk.network/
As the knowledge exchange between SPK and DBuzz keeps moving forward, we are very excited to see the future that grows from it.
Bug Fixes
Between sleep and working on LITE, the DBUZZ Dev team has also found time and pushed out additional developments to the current platform.
- Fixed image uploading issues.
- Fixed login for accounts with hyphen in their username.
- Fixed image rendering issues when uploading more than one image.
- Smaller additional bug fixes.
These changes should be live soon, if not already.
DApp development is a lot like writing a book. It takes time, dedication, and a lot of effort to produce a quality DApp. However, the rewards can be great. Not only will you have created something that is valuable and useful to others, but you will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped to shape the future of the web. Thanks for reading!

The photo fix is greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work.
Nice! Thanks and keep up the hard work. All the progress sounds real good! :)
Recently I did a post and after it was posted, it showed me some warning saying content will be truncated as it exceeds some 280 characters. Ideally, it should have prevented me to post and edit before posting. And when I shared the buzz on twitter, it does not take the image or post link, only text. So I think, these should be improved ?
we should have a copy paste images in, we should have max payout defaulted to $10 or whatever or honestly get rid of it, why are we limiting dbuzz upvcotes? childish lol if it gets flagged its flagged lol
and make it a hidden setting, teh max payout
and yeah make it easier to post in a flow state like twitter
I think, max payout should be $50 - a rare photo is worth no lesser than that.

The rewards earned on this comment will go directly to the people(@dbuzz) sharing the post on Twitter as long as they are registered with @poshtoken. Sign up at https://hiveposh.com.
im so proud of you @dbuzz people
I think you should get a tip bot on twitter for all hive engine tokens going
or have dbuzz account on twitter show a simple manual daily "Heres our top earners and how much hive they earned , denominated in BTC, so peopel fomo into DBUZZ and hive going "I wanna make btc from memes!" and explain how the more users the larger the pie / reward pool etc
imagine dbuzz book nfts
