Today I will continue with the theme of the month under the concept of "Halloween ", in my previous posts, I made a small charm of a ghost, then a haunted pumpkin, and this time I wanted to bring you a small bat in 2D which you can wear on the necklace of your choice, and also make them the size you like, add some fixed bases or pendants for tendrils, and in this way you will have the complete set.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas HiveDIY, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.


Para hoy seguiré con la temática del mes bajo el concepto de "Halloween", en mis post anteriores, realice un pequeño dije de un fantasma, luego una calabacita embrujada, y en esta oportunidad quise traerles un pequeño murciélago en 2D en cual puedes lucir en el collar de tu preferencia, así como también realizarlos del tamaño que mas gustes añadir unas bases fijas o colgantes para zarcillos, y de esta manera tendrás el conjunto completo.


Esperando que sea de su agrado, y se animen a llevarlo a cabo, sin más preámbulos les dejo por acá mi proceso creativo.

Comencemos:😃

• I started by cutting my own quilling strips with black cardboard with the help of a guillotine about 3 to 4mm wide.
  
  
• For the head take a strip of 30cms long, roll it with the quilling needle until the end of it, take it out of the needle, release the circle a little and seal with extra strong white glue, to get a closed circle not so tight, mold it flattening it a little at the bottom, then pull it out a little with your fingers to give it a 2D effect, and apply white glue in the hollow part to prevent the piece from deforming or moving.

• Comencé picando mis propias tiras de quilling con cartulina negra con ayuda de una guillotina de aproximadamente 3 a 4mm de ancho.


• Para la cabeza tome una tira de 30cms de largo, enrolle con la aguja para quilling hasta llegar al final de la misma, saque de la aguja solté un poco el circulo y selle con pega blanca extra fuerte, para conseguir un círculo cerrado no tan apretado, moldee el mismo aplanando un poco en la parte de abajo, luego saque un poco hacia afuera con los dedos para darle un efecto 2D, y aplique pega blanca en la parte hueca para evitar que la pieza se deforme o se mueva.

• For the body use a strip of 60cms long and under the same parameters as before, roll it with the needle, but this time mold it in the shape of a leaf to give the body an elongated shape and apply glue on the inside.
  
  
• Let's go with the ears, take a piece of ribbon 7cms long, roll it with the quilling needle, take it out of the needle and measure on a ruler of different circumference measures in the circle number 6, take it out of the ruler and mold it in the shape of a drop, like this we will need 2 which we will glue on the head of the bat.

• Para el cuerpo utilice una tira de 60cms de largo y bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores, enrolle con la aguja, pero esta vez moldee en forma de hoja para darle una forma alargada el cuerpo y aplique pega en la parte interna.


• Vamos con las orejas, tomamos un trozo de cinta de 7cms de largo enrollamos con la aguja para quilling, sacamos de la aguja y mediremos en una regla de diversas medidas de circunferencia en el círculo número 6, sacamos de la regla y moldearemos en forma de gota, como esta necesitaremos 2 las cuales pegaremos en la cabeza del murciélago.

• Finally we are going to make the wings, we will take tape 15cms long, we will make 3 circles which we will measure on the ruler of various measures of circumference in the circles, 9, 10 and 12, respectively, we will take from the ruler seal with glue and mold as you see in the picture, we will need 3 molded figures equal for each side of the bat, we will paste the body of the same starting with the smallest, then the medium, and finally the largest.

• Por ultimo vamos a hacer las alas, tomaremos cinta de 15cms de largo, vamos a realizar 3 círculos los cuales mediremos en la regla de diversas medidas de circunferencia en los círculos, 9, 10 y 12, respectivamente, sacaremos de la regla sellamos con pega y moldearemos tal como lo ven en la imagen, necesitaremos 3 figuras moldeadas iguales para cada lado del murciélago, pegaremos del cuerpo del mismo empezando por el más pequeño, luego el mediano, y por último el más grande.

• On the top of the head I placed two small iridescent crystals to give resemblance to the eyes, this is optional since it is not necessary to place it, it is only a matter of taste.
  
  
• Between the ears place a medium size costume jewelry ring.
  
  
• Finally we will give it its liquid protection by applying several layers of extra strong carpentry glue, letting it dry between one layer and another.
  
  

This way we will have our 2D bat ready, which you can use with the necklace of your choice. You can also make them a little smaller by placing a hanging base for tendrils and use them in this way.

• En la parte de arriba de la cabeza le coloque dos pequeños cristales tornasol para dar semejanza a los ojos, esto es opcional ya que no es necesario colocarlo solo es cuestión de gustos.


• Entre las orejas coloque una argolla mediana de bisutería.


• Por ultimo le daremos su protección liquida aplicando varias capas de pega extra fuerte de carpintería dejando secar entre una capa y otra.

De esta manera tendremos listo nuestro murciélago en 2D, el cual puedes usar con el collar de tu preferencia. También puedes hacerlos un poco más pequeños colocar una base colgante para zarcillos y usarlos de esta manera.
