My Actifit RC: Dec 13th 22 - I Am Alive Challenge in a tour of Naples between rain and rolls - IAAC #229

A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.

The Russian anticyclone is now stationary on the motherland and favors the bad weather on Italy of Atlantic origin. The Gulf of Naples in these conditions is always a hotbed for heavy rains and unforeseen storms and today is a day definitely characterized by bad weather.

As you have noticed my day alive begins at Town Hall Square. A friend had accompanied her sister to the airport and, after she left to work in Piedmont, we met for an appointment at the maritime station of Naples.

She had to take the ferry but we had time to have lunch together well in advance of her departure since the sea was in poor condition and a lunch too close to her trip at sea would have made her experience unpleasant.

In the afternoon the weather was very cloudy and frequent rains fell on the city but this did not prevent me from reaching Piazza Garibaldi on foot on the way back because I wanted to take some photos of the fortress of Carmine whose remains are present on Via Marina.

Today the colors and baroque shapes of the Basilica sanctuary of Santa Maria del Carmine Maggiore stood out in bad weather coloring a gray day.

I was also able to take a nice picture of the Madonna Bruna even if it is a very difficult shot because of the glass that covers the painting. In fact, the photo is not perfect because of the reflections that come in from all the positions that you can hold.

Upon returning home I find the bus that is about to escape the stop forcing me to an adventurous chase. Unfortunately, the wet road and the uneven bottom of the pavement make me take a ruinous fall and managing to turn I end up belly up in a very awkward way.

Rolling on the ground, however, prevented me from having major traumas that were limited to a couple of simple peelings.

Well even today in my iamalivechallenge number 229 I can feel to have spent a nice day alive in the rain and be satisfied with the activity.

To close this wonderful and adventurous rainy day someone thought I had to get my strength seen the roll that I had made on the ground and had the wonderful idea to give me this very welcome package of treats that I share with my community favorite. It’s gonna take 50k of steps to work it off tomorrow, ROFTL.
