Teluk lake and a fisherman

Today we do data recording field in the lake area across the bay Jambi city, here our focus is about settlement of ancient people based on maritime settlement of the community around this bay lake, First of all we went here to the village head's office to have a friendly relationship and asked for permission to go around taking videos and meet residents, we also conducted interviews about this Olak Kemang village.

After that we went to the head of RT 8, because RT 8 is one of the areas that the administration is the widest in the waters of the bay lake, therefore we conducted an interview with the head of RT 8. After we were at the head of RT 8's house for a long time we were then escorted by him to one of the fishermen's houses in the RT because he was already a fisherman less more than 30 years, therefore we were escorted by him to the fisherman's place.

Continuing to Mr. Kadir, who has been a fisherman for 30 years in this bay lake, he told many things, such as when the tide is high there will usually be a lot of fish caught because when the tide comes the fish gather.

However, when the income recedes, because of the lack of fish, he also said that in the past there were very few people living around here, one could even count his fingers. However, now many people have settled here because of the dense population and, being a fisherman is a side job for most young people today.
