Throw back August Ipoh stay (3)

I spent a lot more days than the pictures I'm able to share here. It's not an official holiday, I'm only taking the oppotunity to stay with my mom over the week when my sister taking the week off.

Other than daily work routine, i make an effort trying to commit a better lifestyle by doing enough walks, at least 10k steps a day. One of these day we got a full moon. I'd tried to capture but unfortunately my old phone auto focus is out. After i have changed the screen, the focal point seems off. The new phone, needless to say it was hopeless. This is the best i can get with my semi broken 64mpx 4 lens phone camera.

After the vigorous morning walk and a couple of sets of pull ups, my stomach is calling me for a treat, so headed to one of my favortie Dim Sum restaurant mear my parent's house. Dim sum is one of the most common food amongst the southern Chinese, particularly Hong Kong. The usual practice in Hong Kong has always been 一盅两件, meaning to say a standard practice of 1 teapot of Chinese Puer tea, and two slices of Dim Sum.

Well, this us how it supposed to be, by right. Folks are usually getting up early, bring along their bird cage, sitting at the dim sum shop, have a pot of Puer tea and enjoy fellowship with friends, having a long chat and continue refilling the teapot to burn time before going for the busy day. Not so much about food, as the waitresses are hanging a tray infront to serve customers. Now that comparing this with what i did to myself, I'm having a meat bun, 3 slices of pork dumplings, a bowl of gluten sticky rice and follow up with a slice of stuffed brinjal. No wonder i became fat.

For a small change, i changed to another food court for my lunch.

If you look carefully , this is not the foodcourt that i usually post, its slightly further from our house, but they have different sets of vendor under this roof.

There's 3 stall i love the most here, one being the stuffed tofu noodle shop, another one is the chicken rice. I just had a chicken rice a day ago, whereas the stuffed tofu noodle shop sold out and they're in the middle of cleaning up. I ordered yet another 1 of my favourite, fried noodle.

The rest of the day being extremely boring, I'm not doing anything more than i should. I'm definitely that office guy, which requires me to sit in the office to he productive. As soon as I'm off the office chair, I'm usually pretending to be busy all time.

By dinner time, i took mom out for a quick dinner, and the home minister show me this photo of her make these for the kids. I'm just gonna say, fortunately I'm not at my home 🤣 i can picture the kids waiting for my wife to tuen her head, everybody will start cleaning up and cart away the food, and pretended we ate it all anyways 🤣
