A Million Ways to Die in the West || A Movie Review [ENG - ESP]
I grew up watching western movies and my favourite amongst them is, ” The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” I have often wonder what it will be like to live in those times, to be a bounty hunter, to be a cowboy, a sheriff of a small town, a mayor, to be a tribe chief and so on. How fun will it be, riding and taming those wild horses, getting involved in gun slinging, a fight in a bar, etc. But when I watched this western movie, the reality of how hard western life could be dawned on me and I discovered that the amenities and technology I’m enjoying in the here and now is a blessing because there are a million ways to die in the west. Though the movie portrayed it an extreme way at times but I know it can’t be further than the truth. Life then was truly fleeting.

Life was bearable for him outside the old stump, Arizona until when he loses his girlfriend, Louise played by the charming Amanda Seyfried, to the most successful business man in town, Foy, played Neil Patrick Harris, the owner of Moustachery store. All efforts to get her back failed massively. Albert was broken but underneath the cloud was a silver lining in the person of Anna played by Charlize Theron, the mysterious woman who ventured into town with her brother captured the heart and interest of the heart broken and lonely Albert.
She took a liking to him and both were inseparable but Albert's heart was still fixated on Louise. Anna tried all she could to assist Albert get back his lost love including pretending to Albert's new girlfriend but the ship had long sailed. Louise was enjoying her new status as the girlfriend of the successful business man, Foy who always made fun of Albert for not having a moustache. But with the constant encouragement of Anna. Albert grew a pair eventually and wasn't the lonely coward that he was known to be.
The relationship between Albert and Anna grew into admiration but even this was cut short when her husband Clinch played by Liam Neeson, the notorious outlaw and gun slinger rode into town in search of his wife, Anna.
Albert was shocked at this revelation, felt betrayed because deep down he knew what was growing between them was too good to be true even as his close friend, Edward played by Giovanni Ribisi on numerous occasions told him.
Eventually he put his hurt feelings aside and put the courage Anna had helped him find to the test by going after her and got her back. But while going after her, he faced his final challenge when he confronted her Clinch in a gun sling battle and won.
PERSONAL OPINION
Though this movie had some average and poor ratings. Rotten tomatoes gave the film a 33% rating with an average score of 4.90/10. I still think it's a good western movie which captured the essence of the old wild west lifestyle.
But statements such as we're made by prominent people in the industry did it some justice,like;
Steven Holden of the New York Times called the film, "a live - action spin off of the family guy with different characters."
Rafer Guzman of the Newsday found the film amusing, calling it, "another example of MacFarlane's ability to mix poop jokes with romance, foul language with sweet sentiment, offensive humour with boyish charm."
If you are a lover of comedy and action movies, I will recommend you to watch this movie. Just ensure you watch it with an open mind because of the foul languages which were constantly used in the movie which can be offensive. Aside that you are good to go.
CONCLUSION
I love movies were the main character came up from nothing into something and gets the girl. A nice ending to a funny movie.
🇪🇦🇪🇦ESPANIO🇪🇦🇪🇦

Pero declaraciones como las que hicimos personas destacadas de la industria le hicieron algo de justicia, como;

Hello, it is important to put the source from where you have taken all the part of the TECHNICAL DETAILS, most of them are data from wikipedia.
Whoops! Totally forgot to do that. Thank you @moviesonhive for pointing it out. I have made the correction.
Hey I remember this movie. I saw it some years back and, although I can’t remember much, I can definitely remember Albert and his sheep. They were so many.
The movie was really funny in my opinion. I watched it with all my siblings and we all had a great time. I’m really considering seeing it again now.
Good writeup my friend.
Hehehe.... especially the one that climbs up on the roof of their house. Eventually those sheep saved him when he was been hunted down and he hid amongst them.
The movie never gets old for me. I think you should check it out again. 😁
I have a very long list of movies and series but I'll find somewhere to chip this one in. I really want to have a good laugh again.

Thank you for visiting my post @tealqueen
I remember laughing my ass out when I saw this movie. The western theme and the humor seemed to blend perfectly. The actors did a great job. The funniest part to me was the christian prostitute and her husband. This totally deserves a better rating... Thanks for the review
So was I. I laughed uncontrollably. You can imagine the big smile on my face while writing the review on the movie. When the memories flood my mind. 😁
Don't even get me started on Edward and his Christian prostitute girlfriend...Hehehe...
Right?! It does deserve a better rating. Thank you @nelson-george for visiting my post.
Do remember that some movies values on rotten are just about when it was made and the time it was shown to the public, this movie is actually not that bad, but the way it ends makes it feel so undeserving of a good rating that it would be oversimplistic to give a better one than 5.
If the main character died on the end, it would have being a solid 9 or 8, for example :)
I'm glad you see and feel the same way I felt about the rating. The move is funny and not bad.
Your last statements though funny but makes a lot of sense about the movie getting a better rating had the main character died. Probably an unpredictability to the ending would have done the trick 😁.
Thanks @jesustiano for visiting my post.
