the Colour of Autumn
This is what Autumn looks like in Canada. Barrier Lake, Kananaskis country to be specific. These are the final snaps from my Prairie view hiking excursion. What an exit hey! This will be my final post from this day’s adventure (at least with the Huawei smartphone, dslr photos coming probably sometime in January) What a day it was, and a fantastic trip in general. Yesterday was Elbow Lake and Rae glacier, which was incredible. If you haven’t seen them, look back in my feed approximately three weeks back. I am currently planning another hiking experience perhaps sometime in November. No high elevation stuff for this time of year though, will need to be a minimal elevation gain or zero elevation gain hike. Not really interested in putting on snowshoes to go upward (or maybe I should give it a go? Looks too difficult though).

Nice shot's, you should try it, look at me suggesting something I haven't done haha. I've always wanted to try a snow shoe hike but still haven't, although I did do a few snow hikes that weren't fun with regular hiking boots, well I should say for the hiking but the scenery was awesome. haha
I could only imagine running into a cougar or something and not being able to run or get away, because of them clunky snowshoes!
Autumn here is called the queen of nature because this time nature is adorned with extraordinary beauty. You have taken some amazing nature photography which looks great.

Seems we had similar ideas for hiking recently :) Fall looks a little different in your neck of the woods though. Have you used snowshoes much? Just the thought of conditions that would require that is enough to make me cold.
Haven’t used snowshoes since high school. I don’t know, not sure if I would like using them or not. Only one way to find out!
What beautiful shots! Those first two are amazing. The following ones are great too but the dumb power lines had to go and get in the way... Great colors!
Again the B&W transforms the whole thing into a whole different world. You would almost say they weren't even the same location!
