I'm guessing the shots you took while hiking was the one of the P40, while the one taken in the city is of the iPhone's? That's because I think the ones of the iPhone has deep contrast and amazing colours.
Correct. Different overall feel to photographing. Still getting used to the iPhone. Then they have this new "camera slider" feature. Have yet to explore it fully.
Ohhh did you just get the iPhone? I currently have an iPhone 12 since 2021 and honestly it gets better when you explore the camera features everyday

That first shot is kind of cool with the snowy hill and the church. Of course the fall forest looks more tempting, and much less cold. No wild trips in my future, but I'm living in southern California so I don't get any of that white stuff from the heavens!
