A couple of photos from the Canoe dock here by the Bow river, Banff Park, Alberta. It was such a perfect day for a canoe ride! Sunshine, fresh air, mountain vistas. What more could one ask for?

Canoeing is hard work! :) Of course, I like using one when we have more than two people together. I have moved to a kayak (for the most part) in the last 10 years. I do most of mine in the Chesapeake Bay and all the rivers in Virginia/Maryland I try not to go near the polluted Potomac River in DC. :))
The paddles are such a bright spot in a peaceful scene. What a great way to center the attention!
