Meachen Creek Falls Camera Roll

A few more photographs from the magnificent and hidden gem waterfall called Meachen Creek Falls. An amazing short stop on our way to a wonderful hike. Just a couple of days ago, we stopped here, and it was certainly worth our while. Canada is known to have many water falls, although this is not the tallest by any stretch, it certainly would likely make it to the top 25 list. One of my favourite falls is located in Yoho park, it is called Takkakaw falls. A true wonder of nature. Due check it out if you ever find yourself in Yoho. This particular fall is well hidden and sort of difficult to find on a map.

Very beautiful, and it reminds me of the Kimberley in Western Australia.

The distance from that waterfall to the ground is amazing. Great job with the way you were able to capture that depth. I could easily tell this was the Leica lens

It was only a 3 min walk into the falls. The hike after that was about 3 hours round trip. Thanks.

Ah man i love your trips and am glad you take your camera!

They also tske me back to trips i have taken, especially the canadian west! I can see the iconic mountains and stream and think how they must be that way all throughout the vast rockies and not just along the banff corridor.

Why are waterfalls always so unanimously stunning?

Stunning, yes! So many waterfalls out here in Alberta, British Columbia. The waterfall is just so different than anything you see in everyday life. The rush of the water, the volume, etc.

What a beautiful spot! I love waterfalls and hearing the roar of the falling water. Great pictures!

It's so sad to see memorials like that, died at 18 years old. It's makes you appreciate still being above the grass!

Between color and B&W this one's a toss up. The colors are beautiful but the monochrome brings out some subtle details. I'll go with colors on this one. Great find of a waterfall!

Yes, there really ought to be a barrier of some kind at this fall. Unfortunately it looks like there has been more than one fatality in the last 20 years or so. Nowadays with selfie mania, it does feel like this area should be controlled better.
