Lookout
This is the spot, the Lookout, the place made popular by other hikers, the selfie spot you might say. This is where you get the best views of the landscape. Getting here was a bit of a challenge though. The summit area was about 50 metres or so below this, but the last bit to get here was not marked out very well. I even saw two mountain bikers pushing their bikes upward towards here, it looked super challenging for them. I hope they made it. This up here is the perfect spot to have a picnic, I did pull out a few snacks that I brought with, along with some bottled water to wash it down. Perfect climax to a perfect hike.

Yeah, reiterating my previous thoughts.. you are super fit! That lookout looks hectic. Were you apprehensive based on the fact that it appears to be the edge of a cliff?! Yikes! Beautiful spot for sure!
I did not get any closer actually. I won't be that guy doing a selfie too close to the edge, and then having an accident. Ironically, me and heights don't get along so well, believe it or not!
Yeah.. I get what you mean. I've jumped out of planes, but can't handle it when people take selfies right on the edge of a wild drop. I reckon we're wise to be mindful of our surroundings haha.
