Fall Hiking & Editing
A few more clicks here from my recent hiking trip out to Kananaskis country, Alberta. A great time of the year to be out and about exploring God’s creation. The colours of fall really shine out here with them beautiful yellow Larch trees. Only problem I had was in editing these photos, trying to make them resemble the reality I saw, the real life, as much as possible. Keeping in mind, these photos are from a smartphone and not a dslr, making things trickier to get the image looking the way it is supposed to. I give up, this is the best I can do. The black and whites take care of themselves, as I don’t have to worry about colour. Can hardly wait to publish the dslr ones sometime in the future and compare images, but first I release the smartphone ones, then the dslr later, stay tuned.
Camera: Huawei P40 Pro
Lens: Leica
Editing: Lightroom & Camera+

So beautiful. Amazing photos as always. It’s a magical part of the Planet.
Canada’s magical garden, thanks @bitphoto.
Such a cool looking angle, the area should be called the Drop Off haha. Amazing shot's my friend, the color's here are magnificent.
There is about a thirty foot drop off or so there actually. I have a few photos in the roll to show later. Thanks @shoemanchu.
I am staying tuned in to your great foto graphy my friend.
S'alright
This is wonderful place to travel. You have shared always wondered photos of nature.
Thanks for looking @kawsar8035.
It’s really God creation😍
Yes, for sure!
So you trail up there daily or do you have a tent out there? :P
No tenting in this area, it was just a one day hiking experience.
Looks rather unbelievable, I don't know what season it is, but it's so colorful. I think they're look quite decent irrespective of whether it wasn't shot from a DSLR
Thanks @josediccus, hope you are doing well?
Well I have been sick, just after losing my only siblings, I've been in and out of hospital for 3 weeks now
Sorry to hear that, I was aware that things were tough. All the best to you my friend. God bless.
@daveks
Do you have any serious problem with DSLR. ? I think your smartphone is also as much better as your DSLR. Because shoots are impressive. How many days have you left in this trip ..?
I have about 2 more posts to make with the rest of the photos I took that day. Usually when I hike I take both dslr and smartphone together. Release the easy ones first, then later on publish the dslr at some point.
The viewscape still looks very impressive to me, DSLR or not. Your smartphone did a great job.
Funny how cell phone pictures really can't do justice to what you really are seeing! Still some beautiful pictures!
Your B&W's there look really like Ansel Adams, I think it's the terrain, amazing!
