Banff Bow
So here we are in Banff, the Banff townsite area, and this is the mighty Bow river which runs through it. Getting to the river is nice and quick, no hiking involved. Bonus! On this particular day the weather started out overcast in the Kananaskis area, and as you can see, about thirty minutes westward things have changed for the better. Love it. I’m sure glad I decided to detour this a way. Now some years back, I used to live only minutes away from here. Why did I move away? Perhaps I never should have left. Next best thing to living here is visiting the area multiple times a year, as I do. You don’t realize how much you miss something, until one moves away. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I think I would choose to stick around. Can’t go back in time though, at least in 2023 you can’t.

Beautiful, well the good thing is you can go their anytime you want, just a drive and time. I do miss many places too, Japan, Spain and the Philippines. Awesome shot's and another amazing location. Thanks for the share.

Is the water green or just the Skies' reflection? It's very serene and beautiful and it's good that you go visiting multiple times, I would love to soak in this beauty every now and then.
I've been meaning to ask if your black and white photography community allows the use of smartphone captured images.
It is green, but the sky light does play a role in how the water appears for our eyes. Also, absolutely you can use a smartphone. All of my photos lately have been made with a smartphone, although soon I will be publishing my dslr photos.

That's beautiful! Reminds me a lot of Idaho and Wyoming in the Rockies! Such pretty water! I know the feeling, once you leave it is hard to go back. At least you can visit a few times a year still.
