It does not matter, black & white or colour, mountain scenery always looks good no matter which colour. Others may disagree, but this is my opinion and preference. How about you? Photos taken along our recent hike to Heart Creek, Alberta.

I think so many people prefer black and white, others don't because they feel black and white takes away the beauty of a picture, otherwise I think it's majorly asthetical preference.

Some pictures look really good in black and white but when it comes to trees and the forest I prefer it coloured as I wanted to see how alive and green looking they are. Black is my fave colour btw. 😊

Yea, I rul like the monochromes. That 1st & 3rd photo are nice centered.

yup your shots are prof that no matter colour or b&w they look great. The difference would be to mood you want to reflect in the image. With some of the rocky texture contrasting with foliage and snow it often lends itself well to B&W but then the mountain lakes, greenery, snow and sky really pop in colour. I like how you quite often present both to see the difference
