So you basically have to play exactly like a midi playback to stop it bridging bars. I dread to think what my idiosyncratic phrasing would look like 😁

I'd hope it has some 'snap to grid' type options. I've not played much with Musescore, but it does look powerful.

It's pretty amazing, but sadly the main thing I used it for was the crowd-sourced transcriptions which are much less available and there are now a bunch of official ones that have to be paid for.

The way that I had it set up in this week was that the keyboard was only delivering the pitch information and the rhythmic information came from the computer keyboard shortcuts instead. So, LH on the computer and the RH on the piano keyboard... it is weird at first, but you start to get really fast at it!

You use the keyboard as an input device only, it seems to only read the note pitch, and gather the rhythmic information from the selections on the computer keyboard. At least that was the way that I had it set up, but I didn't have time to explore further in that week... now, I will have more time to see what it can really do!
