Knocking and banging on the door
"Who's it?"
"It's a new year. Let me in!"
I hurriedly opened the door, invited the year to have its rest in my house while I prepared the hot meal.
"What's the noise for?!"
It asked and I replied gently saying;
"it's my birthday"
