¿Porqué nos quitaste la oportunidad de vivir algo tan bonito?/¿Why did you take away our opportunity to experience something so beautiful?

No puedo dejar de pensar en ti, eras la persona más importante de mi vida, y aunque disfruté de ti plenamente, se que quedaron muchas cosas por hacer y vivir, junto a ti. Siempre nos dijimos que al envejecer seríamos diferentes, a los demás y es algo que no puedo dejar de pensarlo, y a veces le pregunto a Dios, ¿porqué nos quitaste la oportunidad de vivir algo tan bonito?, y claro, luego le pido perdón, porque no debo juzgar a Dios por sus decisiones, aunque está sea una que me halla perjudicado tanto.

I can't stop thinking about you, you were the most important person in my life, and although I enjoyed you fully, I know that there were many things left to do and live, together with you. We always told each other that when we got older we would be different, and it is something that I can't stop thinking about, and sometimes I ask God, why did you take away the opportunity to live something so beautiful, and of course, then I ask for forgiveness, because I should not judge God for his decisions, even if this is one that has hurt me so much.

Yo a veces quisiera que me explicaran, porque la familia de mi esposa me juzgó tan temprano, cuando aún tu cuerpo sin vida, seguía calientito, y tu como siempre en aquel momento tan difícil para nosotros, estabas con una sonrisa en tu boca, es que esa era tu naturaleza, y eras tan especial, que nunca dejaste de ser feliz. Yo me he preguntado tantas cosas, es que no esperaba que te fueras tan pronto. Quiero verte en sueños, necesito hablar contigo aunque sea una de estas noches cuando por fin pueda dormir al menos unas horas.

Sometimes I would like them to explain to me why my wife's family judged me so early, when your lifeless body was still warm, and you, as always in that difficult moment for us, were with a smile on your mouth, because that was your nature, and you were so special, you never stopped being happy. I have wondered so many things, I just didn't expect you to leave so soon. I want to see you in my dreams, I need to talk to you even one of these nights when I can finally sleep at least a few hours.

Arte&Opera es una fundación sin fines de lucro que dirigíamos mi esposa @mariajruizb y mi persona, y quedaron tantas cosas por hacer, tanto sueños, y tantas esperanzas de ver triunfar a los alumnos en escenarios importantes, pero aquí en la ciudad Cumaná, en el Oriente venezolano, la cultura recibe muy poco o nada, como en nuestro caso, y se nos hace cuesta arriba. Recuerdo que María decía que con el ecosistema hive se podía lograr alguna ayuda económica para cubrir las necesidades básicas, pero no sabemos si esa es una realidad, o si es más difícil lograr algún presupuesto para algún proyecto cultural que beneficie a ambas partes, dónde hive patrocine nuestros eventos, y nosotros podamos promocionar hive, en nuestras actividades.

Arte&Opera is a non-profit foundation that my wife @mariajruizb and I directed, and there were so many things left to do, so many dreams, and so many hopes to see the students succeed in important stages, but here in the city of Cumaná, in the Venezuelan East, culture receives very little or nothing, as in our case, and it is hard for us. I remember that Maria said that with the hive ecosystem we could get some economic help to cover basic needs, but we do not know if that is a reality, or if it is more difficult to achieve some budget for a cultural project that benefits both parties, where hive sponsors our events, and we can promote hive, in our activities.

Ella en verdad era tan maravillosa que pensaba que todo el mundo era bueno, y por eso entregaba alma y corazón en cada cosa que realizaba, ya sea con los alumnos de la escuela con el Sistema de Orquestas, o con los trabajos que montábamos con Arte&Opera. En varias oportunidades preparamos conciertos de Disney, con una muy buena escenografía, y todo se veía cuesta arriba, porque aunque trabajamos en los espacios del mejor teatro de la ciudad, y los alumnos están subsidiados por la Fundación por ser la mayoría de bajos recursos, la sala del Teatro nos costaba 300 y 400$, y vender entradas, y promocionar los eventos requieren de grandes inversiones de dinero. Nos pasó que en todas las oportunidades que realizamos los eventos quedamos debiendo dinero.

She was really so wonderful that she thought that everyone was good, and that's why she gave heart and soul in everything she did, whether it was with the students of the school with the Orchestra System, or with the works that we mounted with Arte&Opera. On several occasions we prepared Disney concerts, with a very good scenography, and everything was uphill, because although we work in the best theater of the city, and the students are subsidized by the Foundation because most of them are low-income, the theater hall cost us 300 and 400$, and selling tickets, and promoting the events require large investments of money. It happened to us that every time we held the events we were left owing money.

Desde aquí le hago un llamado a los amigos que conocen buen estos espacios de la web 3.0, y si conocen alguna forma de lograr algún subsidio para eventos en el ecosistema, o si conocen la forma de elaborar un proyecto que sea viable, nos ayuden a lograrlo. Somos buenos en lo que hacemos, y muchos jóvenes están esperando lograr espacios para promover su trabajo vocal, en verdad que hay voces extraordinarios en Arte&Opera, que pueden ayudar con talento, a promover el ecosistema.

From here I make a call to friends who know good these spaces of the web 3.0, and if you know any way to achieve some subsidy for events in the ecosystem, or if you know how to develop a project that is viable, help us to achieve it. We are good at what we do, and many young people are waiting to achieve spaces to promote their vocal work, there are really extraordinary voices in Arte&Opera, that can help with talent, to promote the ecosystem.

Siempre que quiero escribir algo sobre mi esposa, acerca de nuestras vivencias, siempre termino hablando de Arte&Opera, y es normal que esto suceda, porque el gran sueño de mi esposa fue ver a esta Fundación en lo más alto de la Cultura en Venezuela y más allá de sus fronteras. Ella siempre tuvo en mente realizar un concierto de Opera con sus alumnos, y no se le cumplió ese sueño, pero nosotros sabemos que aun hay tiempo de lograrlo.

Whenever I want to write something about my wife, about our experiences, I always end up talking about Arte&Opera, and it is normal that this happens, because my wife's great dream was to see this Foundation at the top of the Culture in Venezuela and beyond its borders. She always had in mind to perform an Opera concert with her students, and that dream did not come true, but we know that there is still time to achieve it.

Me despido de ustedes esperando que me puedan dejar una opinión de lo que acabo de reseñar aquí, para de una u otra manera, replantear a posibilidad de realizar un Concierto que pueda ser patrocinado desde el ecosistema, y se pueda ver reflejado que #hive puede ayudar en este tipo de proyectos, los jóvenes de Cumaná sabrán reconocer algo como esto.
