"Rio Manzanerez", (Oh Cumaná quien te viera, y por tus calles paseara, y hasta San Francisco fuera, a misa de madrugada). Hablar de Cumaná, es más que un compromiso, no solo por su historia, mal contada en muchos de los casos, por tener el honor de haber parido al Abel de América, como lo llamó Bolívar, nuestro Antonio José, sino por ser la primogénita del Continente. Se le conoce más, por sus bellas playas, o por su música, que por su infraestructura, descuidada por la mayoría de los administradores que han gobernado esta ciudad desde hace más de 200 años.

Yo quise tomar unas fotos del centro de la ciudad para que tengan una idea de los lugares que podrían visitar, además de las playas.

El Estado Sucre, es uno de esas entidades que en cuestiones musicales te puede sorprender, por una sencilla razón, en cualquier esquina podrías encontrarte con alguien con un cuatro, mandolina, tambor, y varias bailadoras de joropo con estribillo, todo el mundo quiere cantar, o pertenecer a algún grupo musical, en lo tradicional este territorio está muy bien surtido, dado que la influencia española, y con los esclavos que llegaron de África, se creó una diversidad rítmica que debemos agradecer, y que debemos luchar por conservar en el tiempo, ese legado lleno de sabor con el tambor afro, y la raíz española, no ha dejado un gran legado.

El Estado Sucre está llenó de poetas y poetizas, y aunque hablar del Oriente en si, la mayoría conoce a los más resaltantes, Andrés Eloy, como uno de nuestros mejores exponentes de la literatura Sucrense, seguido por las plumas de Salmerón y su reconocido Azúl, Ramos Sucre, Luís Mariano Rivera, Andrés Mata, y muchos otros que dejaron plasmadas las vivencias de esta bella tierra en la literatura venezolana, pero más allá de aquellos que todos conocen, existen un sin fin de poetas que quedaron en letra muerta todas sus palabras, por no contar con el apoyo para lograr plasmar sus vivencias, en algún libro.

Se que si eres un visitante de otro estado, o si vienes de otro país, y estás en este hermoso lugar, lo más probable es que estés disfrutando de un hermoso sol en una de las mejores playas de Venezuela, quizás en Mochima, Santa Fe, Quetepe, Playa Medina, Pui Pui, Playa Colorada, Cachamaure, o San Luís, uno de los malecones grandes, de paya limpia de todo el país. Pero si no te encuentras allí, y estás recorriendo las calles en el casco histórico de Cumaná, por acá tienes una referencia. o tuve tiempo de subir al castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia, que está a pocos metros de santa Inés, y a su lado está el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, que también puedes tomarte una foto, y recordar en un futuro, que estuviste en esta bella ciudad. Me despido esperando que sea de su agrado esta publicación, deseándoles las mejores bendiciones de Nuestro Señor, en esta Semana Santa del año 2023.

Definitivamente nuestra ciudad cuenta con un casco historico muy hermoso y cargado de historias muy interesantes. Subir al castillo es un grata experiencia, tiempo que no lo hago para recordar viejos tiempos. Me gustaría visitar al de Santa María de la Cabeza. Saludos.
