Light in the middle of the darkness || Luz en medio de la oscuridad

Although angels are greater in strength and power than us human beings, these in turn are at our service, they could never experience God's forgiveness and grace.

I urge first of all, that requests, prayers, petitions and thanksgiving be made for all men; 2 for kings and for all who are in eminence, so that we may live quietly and peacefully in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and pleasing before God our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, of which testimony was given in due time about him. 7 For this I was constituted a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I am not lying), and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

1 Timothy 2.1-7

Through his letters, the apostle Paul gives us a series of recommendations so that we can be light and bring other people who are in darkness to the knowledge of God, at one point he urges us to pray for our rulers and may our life be in peace with all men and in this way many come to the knowledge of the truth and men be saved.

We understand that in the human heart, of a fallen race there is no goodness by itself or something that makes us worthy of salvation, but the same powerful and merciful God decided to love us, so he had to save us in Christ and therefore manifest in us his grace in Christ.

When we live in Christ, when we receive the life of Christ in our hearts, we receive the light and become that light that shines in the midst of darkness or a world that lives in darkness, we bring others to knowledge From the word of God, we invite other people from the world of darkness to be part of the admirable light with Christ in their hearts, for this reason the apostle Paul also urges us to pray and give thanks for all men, indicating that this is good and pleasing to God.

Si bien los ángeles son mayores en fuerza y potencia que nosotros los seres humanos, estos a su vez están a nuestro servicio, jamás podrían experimentar el perdón y la gracia de Dios.

Exhorto ante todo, a que se hagan rogativas, oraciones, peticiones y acciones de gracias, por todos los hombres; 2 por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia, para que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad y honestidad. 3 Porque esto es bueno y agradable delante de Dios nuestro Salvador, 4 el cual quiere que todos los hombres sean salvos y vengan al conocimiento de la verdad. 5 Porque hay un solo Dios, y un solo mediador entre Dios y los hombres, Jesucristo hombre, 6 el cual se dio a sí mismo en rescate por todos, de lo cual se dio testimonio a su debido tiempo. 7 Para esto yo fui constituido predicador y apóstol (digo verdad en Cristo, no miento), y maestro de los gentiles en fe y verdad.

1 Timoteo 2.1-7

El apóstol Pablo nos regala a través de sus cartas una serie de recomendaciones para que seamos luz y que traigamos a otras personas que están en oscuridad al conocimiento de Dios, en un momento nos insta a que oremos por nuestros gobernantes y que nuestra vida sea en paz para con todos los hombres y de esta manera muchos lleguen al conocimiento de la verdad y los hombres sean salvos.

Entendemos que en el corazón humano, de una raza caída no hay bondad por sí mismo o algo que nos haga digno de la salvación, pero el mismo Dios poderoso y misericordioso decidió amarnos, por lo que tuvo que salvarnos en Cristo y por eso manifestar en nosotros su gracia en Cristo.

Cuándo vivimos en Cristo, cuando recibimos la vida de Cristo en nuestro corazón, recibimos la luz y nos convertimos en esa luz que brilla en medio de las tinieblas o de un mundo que vive bajo tinieblas, traemos a otros al conocimiento de la palabra de Dios, invitamos a otras personas del mundo de oscuridad a que sean parte de la luz admirable con Cristo en sus corazones, por eso el apóstol Pablo también nos insta a orar y dar gracias por todos los hombres, indicando que esto es bueno y agradable a Dios.
