Power Up Day - Probably The Most Important Day Of The Month

I will be staking my Hive today and every day for the rest of the month hopefully.

I will be locking up 62 hive. In return for this, I will receive a higher value for my vote as thus a bigger share in the curation rewards.

You Don't have to wait for the first of the month or for a event like Power Up Day to add some stake, as you can see from the chart I have been adding a little bit for quite some time, I missed a few days but fairly consistent overall.

Reasons To Power Up

The other thing is to move up the leader board on hive buzz in terms of HP, currently I am sitting in about position 1173, I will be aiming to get under 1000 spot in the ranking. no prizes or anything just a bit of fun.

Another reason is for increased security. By having my hive powered up means if I get hacked, the attacker can not empty my account immediately, and I have some time to change the password and recover my account. This feature alone should make you want to secure you money.

Finally, staking also provides me with a way to earn a passive income. By staking my coins, I can earn rewards on a regular basis without having to perform any work.
