Over the long term yes...until it's not.

I hold a lot and put it to work by delegating it to leo.voter to reap more $LEO. 😀

I don't think it is necessarily a good idea to keep it liquid but there's a lot of ways to earn if it is staked (delegation, curation).

I think not, but if we think of long long term hold, I really can't say no because HODL is only good if the crypto fluctuate but eventually rises higher than a certain base limit but Hive can still come back to it's all time low

I think that’s the crux. If it will come down to low prices, it’s not a hodl material

Yes bro exactly, so my final answer would be Hive should be for trading not hodling and also creating value in exchange for Hive

I do not know much about hive , but if hive is a great crypto that is valuable ,then hodling it is a great idea

Any coin that have a great use-case is always worthy of hodling in my own opinion. , but coins that do not have use-case is not really worthy of hodling for a long time IMO

Good question, but essentially it's really up to what you want to do with it.

Well. The usual stuff. To beat BTC

not much can beat BTC right now... it kind of had an average of gaining 60% value every year. According to Michael Sailer

From my experience in crypto hodling, I HODL what grows regardless of what happens in the temporary. I think it's good to HODL for a short period

No, not a bad idea. Let's say if we have power down window period as 4 weeks instead of 13 weeks, how would it be for you?

yes investors perhaps will be more interested. However there is a bad theology in crypto space, we welcome the incoming investment, and we do not appreciate in same sense an outgoing investment even when it is common in/out.

no way!!! But it’s a bad idea to be 100% powered up because if things get really crazy you can’t take profits. I usually keep 20-25% of my hive unstaked

Yeah probably is, I might HODL Bitcoin because of history but I checked history of Hive and it's best to keeping trading it and keeping it and trading it and eventually growing the amount you own manually
