Inflation: Bitcoin, Hive, Dollar [EN/DE]

Inflation is a topic which touches everyone as it impacts every aspect of the modern life. Two recent articles $HIVE Turns Deflationary As HBD Expands and Hive Ends February Deflationary! Hive Inflation And Supply For February 2023 made me look into inflation numbers of bitcoin. The inflation of Hive came out to be 6.5% for 2023.

The year-over-year (YoY) inflation of US dollar as of today is 6.4%, same as that in Oct 1990.

Bitcoin on the other hand leads the way by being the least inflationary among most assets. The inflation rate of bitcoin as per Willy Woo's model is 1.78%.

I shared Willy Woo's model in my previous blog.

Coincidentally, inflation Hive and USD are pretty close to each other. That is really impressive of HIVE 😎. It still has some way to go to catch on with bitcoin.
