If you are playing the Splinterlands game regularly, you have probably played against one specific Summoner who makes more damage when you are attacking his army than vice-versa... Yes, it's Mylor Crowling, from Earth Splinter pack, Dice Edition with annoying Thorns ability!
But, there is a solution for him or an antidote... As thorns work only if you attack with Melee monsters, so pick wisely your deck when you play against the opponent who uses Mylor!

Great advice! I found that using a monster with 1 speed like living lava can also work, as it misses attacks and then doesn’t get hurt so much.
Also a double healing combo like your opponent or with the sea monster from the water splinter works pretty well.
Especially if the opponent is trusting a bit too much on the thorns to do the damage.
I tried if the dispell ability would remove the thorns, but unfortunately it does not.
Hmmm... But what's the point if he doesn't hit? :) I mean I understand that it doesn't get hurt, but it's useless if not hitting... :)
Agree with double healing as that can be annoying... lol... when opponent does that, of course... I like to do that with Water Splinter :)
