PRESEARCH "We will make search engine PRIVATE again!"
Did you know that your search engine knows more about you than your family? That's a little disturbing isn't it? Most people use the most popular search engine in the world - Google.
In comparison, DuckDuckGO which does not collect as much data as Google is used by only 0.66% of people.
This is probably because people don't realize how much data is collected by the search engines they use every day. Some of the search engines have a private window option, but this only gives the illusion of privacy because data is being collected all the time. Will people change their habits and switch to search engines that respect their privacy?

More and more people are learning about alternatives to Google. DuckDuckGo is used by more and more people every year.
Few people know that there is also a decentralized search engine built on blockchain. It is called Presearch and it respects the privacy of its users. Will decentralized search engines built on blockchain gain popularity with the rise of Web3? I hope so. Presearch challenged Google which is almost a monopolist on the search engine market. We can help David to fight Goliath by using Presearch instead of Google.

I have been using Presearch on one of my browsers, It works great so far other then a couple of deep dives I needed to make into the cyberverse. Though those 2 exceptions is mainly due to how long Presearch has been around.
I haven't registered to receive tokens, admittedly I forgot about that too interested in putting it to the test.
At the beginning I had big problems with searches, especially with typos, but with time the search results are getting better and better and it finds results even when you make a typing error. The more people use Presearch the better the results will be.

I have tried to withdraw a 1000 tokens like 4 months ago, I still haven’t received them, because the transaction costs of the Ethereum network are too high… I feel scammed
You must contact Presearch support if your withdrawal is urgent. Hopefully when Mainnet launches payouts will be automatic.
That sounds pretty hopeful. Is it true that Presearch is owned, at least in part, by Google? I’ve been using Presearch for a couple weeks, but lately have heard a few things that made me question it - this is the first comprehensive documentation I’ve seen on it, so if anyone would know I suppose it might be you. Thanks!
Presearch is not owned by Google. I don't think Google is interested in projects that care about user privacy, but Presearch doesn't have its own search database yet and uses external data like Google and DuckDuckGo. In the future they want to have an independent search engine.

Well I guess you have to wait for Mainnet and automatic withdrawals or adding a second blockchain for withdrawals. When this is implemented I will let you know.
I've heard about Presearch in the past, but I've never been too interested in this project. Actually, I'm starting to think it's a really interesting project. Thank you for sharing this information.
