The 11th dimension

Until today and thanks to this participation I learned that there are eleven dimensions, each one representing a theoretical representation that tries to explain general relativity and quantum mechanics, of which I know little or nothing.
Even though I know little or nothing about quantum physics, I looked for information about "The eleventh dimension" which by the way is also called M-theory.
The little I can tell you is that this theory deals with aspects of a feature of space-time that has been proposed as a possible answer to unsolved mathematical problems.
