Hello friends of this beautiful community, I hope you are having a special week and that it is full of peace and positive energy.

Today I want to share with you an activity that we did for school, the second term is about to end and the girl has her project closing, this time she had to talk about paprika since the theme of the project is about plants.

Hola amigos de esta linda comunidad deseo que estén teniendo una semana especial y que esté llena de mucha paz y energía positiva.

Hoy quiero compartirles una actividad que hicimos para el colegio, ya está por terminar el segundo lapso y la niña tiene su cierre de proyecto que está vez le tocó hablar sobre el pimenton ya que el tema del proyecto se trata de las plantas.

While we were making the model we were learning about paprika and we found out that it comes from Mexico, Peru and Bolivia and that there are white paprika as well, we have never seen it in that color.

Mientras hacíamos la maqueta íbamos aprendiendo sobre el pimenton y nos enteramos que es proveniente de México, Perú y bolivia y que hay pimentones de color blanco también, nunca lo hemos visto de ese color.

The teacher asked us to make a 3D plan for the project closing presentation. So we had to get very creative to make that model, they asked that it be made with recyclable material and we began to think what we could use to make it.
We started a day earlier because the time they gave us was too short.

La maestra nos pidió hacer una planta en 3D para la presentación del cierre de proyecto. Por lo que nos tuvimos que poner muy creativas para elaborar esa maqueta, ellas pidieron que fuera con material reciclable y comenzamos a pensar que podíamos usar para hacerla.

Comenzamos un día antes porque el tiempo que nos dieron fue muy corto.

First we thought about the base of the model as we could for the stem so that it doesn't move and it will remain fixed.

Primero pensamos en la base de la maqueta como podíamos para el tallo para que no se moviera y quedará fijo.

So for the stem we use some sticks that bring the clothes hooks, we join them with adhesive tape and we manage to make a thick stem, then we cover it with green plasticine on the front and the back.

Entonces Para el tallo usamos unos palos que traen los ganchos de ropa, los unimos con cinta adhesiva y logramos hacer un tallo grueso, luego lo forramos con plastilina verde por delante y la parte de atrás.

The box we used was a gift box and we recycled it so that in this case it was our little pot that we filled with compost and decorated with stones to give it a more real touch.

La cajita que usamos fue una caja que era de regalo y la reciclamos para que fuera en este caso nuestra pequeña maceta la que llenamos con tierra de abono y decoramos con piedras para darle un toque más real.

For the leaves and the peppers, my daughter made the drawings separately and we cut them out and then we used a technique called thermoforming, which is to iron the foami but not directly, rather you put the foami on and cover it with a cloth and passes a clothes iron and the foami is bulging and grabbing relief.

Then fill the peppers with a bit of cotton to give them a more realistic touch and glue them with cold silicone.

Para las hojas y los pimentones mi hija hizo los dibujos aparte y lo recortamos y luego usamos una técnica que se llama termoformado que es planchar el foami pero no directamente, si no que se pone el foami y se tapa con una tela y por encima se le pasa una plancha de ropa y el foami va abombandose y agarrando relieve.

Después rellene los pimentones con un poco de algodón para darles un toque más realista y los pegue con silicón frío.

My nephew Ishai came to our school activity and said that he wanted to collaborate with us, he accompanied us and also made the time very pleasant, asking me questions and making figures with the clay.

En nuestra actividad escolar llegó mi sobrino Ishai que dijo que quería colaborar con nosotras, el nos acompañó y también hizo el rato muy agradable preguntándome cosas y haciendo figuras con las plastilinas.

The result of our model is very nice, we can see that with love and disposition everything is possible, despite the fact that we had very little time, we achieved it and we are happy to be able to fulfill the responsibility of the project. The truth is that I love everything that has to do with crafts for school, it's fun that while we do the activities we learn new things.

El resultado de nuestra maqueta es muy lindo, podemos ver qué con amor y disposición todo se puede a pesar de que tuvimos muy poco tiempo lo logramos y estamos felices de poder cumplir con la responsabilidad del proyecto. La verdad me encanta todo lo que tiene que ver con manualidades para el colegio es divertido que mientras hacemos las actividades aprendemos cosas nuevas.
