CROSSCULTURE CURATION POST || 06/10/2021
Hello beautiful people!
@kemmyb here đź‘‹
Welcome to the New Cross Culture's Daily Curation where we bring you some amazing posts from members across communities of different cultures, focusing on but not limited to bilingual posts.
The Cross Culture community, was created by @whatamidoing.
It is a community that supports authors who make posts that share the realities of different cultures first hand, as well as different perspectives and experiences. We look for ways in which cultures can become crosscrossed and enlightening while going beyond stereotypes associated with certain culture.
The authors whose articles have been chosen for this week are all writing content of high quality, which focus on the various topics:
- All bilingual posts
- Posts in regional communities or tags
- Posts related to language or culture
- Posts in our cross culture community
Cross Culture's daily bulletin aims to bring to light all authors whose articles would otherwise remain unnoticed and lost in the platform, therefore we tend to reward authors who create quality posts, giving them a fair chance to establish themselves on the platform.
Howbeit, that's only the half of it!!!
After careful selections, our curators which come from diverse cultures will single out the most outstanding articles among all those curated to create a weekly shout out to the authors from the Top posts of the week.
đź“ŚTherefore, here are this week's awesome authors and their posts:
A Cup of Espresso And Timphan Cake by @razack-pulo
The espresso that I enjoy was arabica coffee from Gayo Highlands of Aceh Province and timphan is a typical aceh food. Timphan is a traditional cake that have been present in Aceh since hundreds of years ago. Really, coffee and timphan are special dishes in Acehnese culture... Well, to produce a cup of coffee from these “roasted beans”, it is processed by a filtering process with a special tool, which only exists in Acehnese culture. These roasted beans cannot be used for espresso machines.
Palm Fruit Juice Soup - The Nigerian Mouthwatering Delicacy Popularly Known As Banga Soup by @utymarvel
In a typical Nigerian food menu this particular dish cannot be missing. It is mostly eaten by the Niger Delta region of Nigeria and adopted by the West with few changes in it. This dish is made up of two basic ingredients which are: Banga- the juice from palm fruit and Atama the leave. Now you may wonder how the juice is gotten? I would tell you how I got the juice, then for the leaves it is gotten from it's tree. The leaves are then well sliced.
A Journey To The Unknown Town In Ghana by @mcsamm
It is expected that all fresh graduates here in Ghana undergo an exercise after completion of school. It is one of the basic requirements that will certainly get a fresh graduate an opportunity to be employed. It is a scheme conducted by the government each year to ensure that all fresh graduates serve the nation. This exercise is called ''National Service''. During the period of national service, each individual will be posted to work in any community in Ghana. It does not really matter where you get posted to. Once people live there you are expected to go serve the people for your nation.
[ESP-ENG] Remedio Casero para la Fertilidad / Home Remedy for Fertility by @giltonpach21
Soon after my grandmother's wise recommendation, one of my aunts gave her the remedy, which, according to my grandmother's recommendation, she had to take three consecutive bottles, and when she finished taking them, she would become pregnant...The drink is prepared with medicinal plants, which many may know or have other names in other countries. In Venezuela they are very well known, some more common than others, and very used individually, either as a thoracic disinflama, to improve blood circulation or for menstrual cramps.
