Seismic Conundrum At Tumble - Two Point Hospital
Continuing the journal series with this 3rd post, following up the 2nd one.
Disclaimer
There are some wonky stuff you'll see from the screenshot and GIFs of gameplay footage. That's because my Windows 11 needs reinstallation and my HDD of 3 years is now failing on me. That's life I guess 🤷♂
Man have I been super busy, was stuck with trying to configure my drawing tablet, I haven't done a sketch in a while. But let me get to the topic at hand. I played the next level after Mitton University; called Tumble. And the word wasn't conjecture added, there was some stuff tumbling alright.
Here's the map layout. You'd think this looked fun and get some giggles out of you. Wait till you comprehend the pedestrian path traces and will know why this is distressing of a map design.
On top of that, we got natural disasters to worry about 🤦♂. Ever ran a hospital where nature decides to wreak havoc? I didn't think so at first 😩.
First thing's first, you do not get to have a small start when you build a hospital. Sure, now I get doctors and nurses with skills and experiences, thankfully. But the going gets good if the reputation of the hospital is well established, and I mean the work really needs to be cut out for me.
So I took loans again, thankfully this isn't the real world where unforeseeable obstacles come in the way and you're stuck dealing with things much worse than you'd wanna let on. So I went as far as having 3 hospital blocks. Nice.
Secondly, I get new rooms for patients with fractured bones. Little did I know that, I could place multiple beds and unlike having hospital dorms, they need way more vacant spaces. This game wasn't providing me that luxury at first, a shame.
But I moved on, I already used whatever I've learned like they're second nature, and applied it to the game's overall systematic flow. Again, people need more GPs to make appointments over so that was done.
And then there was this? Yes, that is poop I tell you. POOP!! 😵. My hospital is now crawling with people who can't hold their bladders. I thought putting one bathroom stall was enough. Referring back to the map layout, the first block is the one from below. Now imagine waiting so long, you couldn't go there to do your business.
Fine, the A.I be like that, I've built a second stall on the left side of the first block. It's closer...I think. So, for added measure, made a much bigger bathroom stall on the 3rd block, purchased using my loan.
Now, back to the natural disasters. You SimCity guys, of course, would first think its a tornado, tsunami, or earthquake. Actually, the last part is correct. But there's also fire hazard on hospital equipments and such. Here, you can see people running for their lives, as if it wasn't fleeting enough waiting at a hospital. At least some of them didn't POOOOP while doing that. Crapping their pants would be better instead of defecation.
So, the best ways to circumvent these things? Hire more janitors, but also ones with maintenance skills. 2nd tier skills help out a lot. But finding good staff and keeping expenditure less is pretty heavy on the mind. So I went balls out, next thing I know, I get 30-40K in profits. All in good day's work.
But if am to achieve the objectives needed to obtain the 2-star ranking and the last 3rd one, I need to look at my doctors and nurses. The pie chart showing patients being cured, and dying is a pretty grim statistic. This means I need to recognize their future positions. Whether they should be staying or not. Good staff means it'll be easier to maintain a positive cure rate overall.
Man, this game takes a lot out of you. Am not doctor, but I sure do know a good number of people who are. Guess life lessons have funny ways of coming to you. Am glad am playing this game, feels like it has much more to offer. Gotta sink the time into it then. But that poop image still got me traumatized 😣.

It's honestly baffling to me that you made a post complaining about people now engaging on your posts when you don't even take the time to respond to the comments you get. Just keep on producing for those rewards instead.
But I do respond to comments more often than before. Just can't find the time to respond to every one of them.
Well you do you. Just kinda a bad look when you make that post about engagement then prioritize producing content over engaging yourself.
Look, if I can't help it, then it's just what it is. I'll try better next time, sorry for the inconvenience.
