Do you move a plant when you move? Do you take a piece of yourself?
Oh yes. The first thought I always have is what shall I do with my plants in case I move or I have to make changes in my life. I feel like they are a part of me , my babies, who have been with me in my highs and lows. I could not just give them away or throw them. So I can perfectly understand why you took some plantsy souvenirs from that home.

I've been dragging my plants around forever. When I first left home oh, I took a few of my mother's spring bulbs and have been splitting them and taking them with me everywhere I go. I have a permanent house here on the Virginia Shore and I consider that home for all of my extra flowers and trees. When I went to Europe I left them there and have been splitting them into taking them with me since I get back. It's funny how they become a piece of us and and all three of my kids are the same way, taking little pieces of their life when we move. Good morning from here and I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day!
This was beautiful to read, they are like a small part of you. I would also find ways to take them with me wherever I go. I am having a great day, hugs for you Denise🤗
