Hola amigos. Espero que estén muy bien. Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotos sobre el proceso de elaboración de lo que en México y otros países es conocido como Papel Picado.

Hace algunos años conocí vía Habbo a varias personas de México, una de esas personas vive en Puebla, él me contó sobre muchas tradiciones y costumbres de su región, entre ellas está la celebración del día muertos y la elaboración de ofrendas para ellos.

Recordando a mi amigo y teniendo en cuenta que esta semana dio inicio el Hivefest quise recrear uno de estos elementos usados por los creyentes y amigos mexicanos. Lo realicé con hilo color verde y negro, sin embargo la tradición reza que los colores deben ser alegres y llamativos. Igual me encantó el resultado y se los quiero mostrar.

El papel picado tiene como figura o imagen representativa una calavera o esqueleto de cabeza. En el tejido se logra esta figura de ma era sencilla tan solo tejiendo puntos altos sobre puntos altos y dentro de las cadenas que tejemos al aire.

En la web y demás sitios de internet podrás encontrar infinidad de patrones por los que podrás guiarte si deseas tejer unas de estas ofrendas. Ella simbolizan el aire.

Estoy muy contenta de poder poner un granito de arena desde mi humilde conocimiento y espacio creativo para que esté evento tan esperado sean todo un éxito. The papel picado has as a figure or representative image a skull or skeleton head. In knitting this figure is achieved in a simple way just by knitting high stitches over high stitches and inside the chains that we knit in the air.
