(PT-EN) Combate sem habilidades

#PT first, #ENG depois, #Ecency forever😅

https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_9b79e90d76e2a05543563a3574fa6449

Regras da batalha

As regras da batalha proposta foram:

Back To Basics: A regra que descarta todas as habilidades próprias dos monstros, o que justifica o nome "volta ao básico"

Earthquake: Terremoto!

  1. FLY, ou seja, monstros que voam. Neste caso, recebendo 0 de dano pelo Earthquake;
  2. SHIELD, ou seja, monstros que recebem menos dano físico. Neste caso, recebendo 1 de dano pelo Earthquake;

#PT first, #ENG later, #Ecency forever😅

Hey guys, I came back to participate here directly for a challenge of the weekly battle, this is the best game #play2earn there is!! #Splinterlands!

This post is a submission to weekly battle challenge Splinterlands!

Today we will dishonor the challenge, which calls for our combat with the creature HILL GIGANT. This exception is so that you can share a simple and curious game, where probably the players' rush to scale the teams ended up determining the outcome of the combat.

The battle took place in the SILVER III league and can be watched through the following link:
https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_9b79e90d76e2a05543563a3574fa6449

Rules of Battle

The proposed battle rules were:

Back To Basics: The rule that discards all monsters' own abilities, hence the name "back to basics"

Earthquake: Earthquake! Everyone who walks underground suffers physical damage each round. Flying beings take no damage.

Strategy

Here's the best part of this game: when you're focused on playing with quality, and not just putting together repeated combos, submitting again and again until you get a certain number of chests.

With Earthquake active, we should aim to minimize its effects by seeking out monsters:

  1. FLY, ie monsters that fly. In this case, taking 0 damage from Earthquake;
  2. SHIELD, ie monsters that take less physical damage. In this case, taking 1 damage from Earthquake;

Due to the MANA limitation of only 13 units, I chose to go for a monster with the highest sum of health and shield.

In this case, the Harklaw seemed to me to be the right choice as it has 9 health points and 3 shields, for a total of 12 survival points.

In addition, it would have the SHIELD skill which, in this match, will not be activated because the Back to Basics rule is active. Important to emphasize that the choice of Harklaw has nothing to do with his ability Shield.

My opponent ended up, probably in a hurry, choosing to evade the rules of battle through the use of the devil's little horse, known as Regal Peryton.

By betting all your chips on this monster that is feared and respected due to its high speed associated with the ability to dodge; the opponent made the fatal and decisive mistake for the match.

With each round, your bet drains into blood, taking damage from Earthquake.

Consider that having 6 life points, the card chosen by the opponent would survive AT MAXIMUM 2 rounds, surrendering at the end of the third round only for the damage received in earthquake. If it were hit by any of my monsters, its death could be anticipated.

A bad choice for the opponent, and an excellent game for CrazyPhantomBR, who took the victory in the third round.

The battle took place in the SILVER III league, which is my game zone due to CP.
I see that my opponent is also around 1800 points, which seems fair given that I have 1870.

As for Focus Points, 1,556 were received, considering my low ECR - 61%, was as expected.

Starter cards were not used.

Conclusion

This was the battle I wanted to share with you, reinforcing that you need to be mindful of the game and not just submit combos over and over without thinking!

What did you think of my fight? what would have changed? I won easily due to the great work of FLYING SQUID. Only once was the extra shield used, still it was of great help.

If you liked it, leave a comment there about the fight.

I fear your opponent died to the earthquake, it was well played on your part.
I definitely agree with actually thinking about battles rather then a good line up that you just play over and over again. You have to keep your opponents guessing.
Have a great day!
