Union vs Charleroi

Charleroi so far has been underrewarded for the performances they put on the pitch which put them in the 3rd last place. They did manage to get their first win last week against Kortrijk at home in a match that ended in a 1-0 score. Their only objective was to win regardless how it as done which actually resulted in one of their weaker matches so far. However they have shown to be capable especially in the match away against Club Brugge which is somewhat comarable with today. They are good and willing to also go forward at the moment they are not behind but likely have trouble needing to break a defense. Union continues to impress in their general performances and it's hard to oppose them even though this fully seems to be adjusted in their handicap lines. They also rank first in expected goals this season. I don't see Charleroi without a chance in this match also because Union had multiple matches where they failed to get the win so far. I took 0.2 units on Charleroi +1.25 @ 1.791 and an extra 0.05 units on Charleroi +0 @ 5.108 which I believe is just too high as Charleroi is a team with quality. Union also has got an upcoming Europa League match against Liverpool which their minds might already be on which also might result in energy conservation.

Genk vs Westerlo

Genk in their last 5 league matches only managed to win 1 and they are still far away from the peak form they reached at times last season. Only really El Khannouss is standing out right now. So far they also each time failed to cover their handicaps in home matches. Westerlo is yet without a win but managed to break the losing streak with a draw last week against Standard away in a match that ended with 0-0. Their main goal was to defend and keep a clean sheet which they succeeded in and I would not be surprised to see a similar approach today. While on paper, this match might look like an overish match as in the past this often played out that way. Right now however, both teams are different with Genk no longer scoring as easy and Westerlo dropping their offensive style since they desperately need points. I see the over line as too high right now even though at the same time not much might be needed to get the score way up. As a pre-game position I took 0.35 units on Under 3.25 @ 1.952 & 0.2 units on 1H Under 1.25 @ 2.05 both with an eye to middle or trade out if needed in-game.

Club Brugge vs Sint-Truiden

Sint-Truiden is one of the revelations this season, especially in their 1st half performance. Usually, they get more tired in the 2nd half which multiple times resulted in a team making a comeback.They also don't crawl back and are willing to play with most goals so far coming from Koita who picked up a great form. CLub Brugge have the potential to be the team to be head and shoulders above the competition but so far it hasn't fully resulted in the dominance they could have yet. Their starts especially have rather been poor in many of their games. They have a lot of scoring potential but also aren't flawless in the defense. Thiago has looked like Yaremchuk 2.0 and while Jutgla who has been coming off the bench looked way more dangerous. My lean is on the over and on Stvv to put up another great 1st half. I do expect in the end for Club Brugge to win. I did take 0.3 units on Over 3 @ 1.952 and also 0.1 unit on Brugge To Win & Both To Score @ 2.930. I'm also leaning on Stvv 1H but I need at least +0.75 @ 1.7-1.8 odds. If Jutgla is a confirmed starter, I might also take some on him to score as a beer bet.

RWDM vs AA Gent

So RWDM also has been one of the revelations this season showing to actually be an ok team. They have shown different faces defensively with a 7-1 loss away against club Brugge where they played way too daring but a 0-0 draw against Antwerp totally parking the bus. Based on the results from those approaches I would not be surprised to see the latter again today. AA Gent is first in the standings but their goal-producing ability seems to have gone down compared to when they were able to score out of nothing in any given match. Cuypers also is questionable for this match. AA Gent also yet has to win a 1st half away. They similar to RWDM parked the bus successfully against Antwerp showing that they are capable of locking things down and they might just switch to that strategy when taking the lead. RWDM has yet to win a 1st half at home. For now, I will just be waiting to see how the match flows before potentially getting any bets in. No Pre-Game Bets
