It was an ok Saturday with some more overall profit and I'm looking to continue this trend on Sunday. 4 interesting matches and once again previews on each of them and some pre-game positions I got into...

Antwerp vs Kv Mechelen

Mechelen lost with a 4-1 score in the mid-week against Genk starting the match compact in the defense getting an early goal against on the counter and taking a red card early on and having no chance whatsoever after being dominated by Genk. I'm expecting a similar approach with intentions not to leave space today. They mainly have been a good home team but they certainly have the potential in any given match to put up an excellent performance and are able to field an A-Squad. Antwerp played a good 1st half away against Seraing where they could have been in a 0-3 lead but it took them until minute 92 to take a 0-1 win after playing with 10 for the last 25 minutes. They have some missings with Engels, Benson, Frey but they still overall have a solid capable team that similar to Mechelen has the potential to put up an excellent performance in any given match. Form of the day will be the main factor and the current lines feel quite fair. Antwerp had 65% of their home goals in the 2nd half, Mechelen 62.8% so a scenario where Mechelen starts compact against with goals later down the line is what I will keep an eye on. Also, Antwerp is 21-5 on 10 corners or more this season overall and Mechelen 20-6 which makes them the 2 highest corner teams. The line is set at 11 so it for sure is at least somewhat adjusted to this. I do expect more drive forward from Antwerp at the start and with Mechelen not having won a corners matchup in their last 6 away matches, it made me take 0.2 units on Antwerp 1st Half -0.75 Corners @ 1.960 which I might add more to in-game. Should be an interesting match with most betting action planned live.

Eupen vs Club Brugge

So Eupen has been in free-fall mode for some time and are lucky that they overperformed at the start of the season. Their coach also got fired with his assistant taking over. For sure today they will settle for a draw and I expect Eupen with a very defensive approach. Club Brugge has not really convinced this season underperforming based on the quality they have in their team. Their new coach is high on possession with the occasional increase in pace to try and score. Last week they scored the 2 goals against Charleroi on the counter. It is pretty much the match that can be expected in Club Brugge having the ball without really pushing Eupen back just patiently waiting for the goal and controlling things afterward. The quality difference should be quite big resulting in an away win over 90 minutes and it's always possible for Eupen to score a goal somehow. As much as I'm tempted to take Club Brugge, I need to see them really dominate first before getting in. If Eupen takes the lead I will likely bet on a comeback. For now, No Pre-Game Bets

Anderlecht vs Genk

Anderlecht remains a team capable of solid performances but their Asian handicaps tend to be too high in most matches. They are red against them across the board this season despite doing quite well in the standings. Genk has shown some good things in their last games and have their A-Squad available and fit aside from Thostvedt who is suspended. Anderlecht is in 4th position now 5 points clear of AA Gent while Genk still has a small chance for Playoff 1 if they win today which would bring them within 4 points of Anderlecht. I'm not quite sure if this will turn out in a match where both are just willing to go for it from the start instead of waiting it out with a study round. I do see Anderlecht as overrated compared to Genk in the line and an away win would not really be that big of a surprised. This made me go for 0.3 units on Genk +0.75 @ 1.800. I'm also temped with the high 2.8+ odds on Genk to score 2 goals but will wait to see the in-game picture of the match before getting in more bets.

Sint-Truiden vs OH Leuven

Both these teams are in a good streak and can play freely without any stress since they reached a safe zone. They still have a chance to reach playoff 2 and I expect them to go for the win. Stvv has shown to have a good defense so as long as they are not behind I do expect them to keep their focus on it. Stvv won their last 3 home corner matchups (6-2 | 6-1 | 10-4) while OHL lost their last 3 away corner matchups (8-5 | 6-2 | 6-2) both all against non-top-teams. I took a small 0.2 unit bet on Sint-Truiden -0.5 Corners @ 1.870 for Full Time. That's it for this match.
