SCHOOL FUN WEEK

With the intensity at which accademic activities has being going on at the federal university of agriculture Abeokuta FUNAAB and exams fast approaching after about nine weeks of lecturers many students are constantly stressed and warn out.

But over the last week sound city yes sound city the music channel on DStv in collaboration with Coca-cola, Munch-it, FIrst city monument bank (FCMB), Indomie and Showmax brought some fun to school to school.

The event was a three days event which took place at the schools car park for the first two days and the ground finally at ceremonial building of the great university the event took place from Wednesday to Friday of the past week.

The event really helped a lot of students to relax from the intensity of accademic activities and the thought of exams.

Day 1

The first day of the event saw the arrival of the various companies with their trucks loaded with tents role-up stands banners and their products. set up wasn't a problem as they soon finished before students were done with classes.

The event kicked of with music and lots of fun activities games dancing competition with winners of games getting brand gifts from the various brands .

DAY 2

The events started on a very lite note with brand advertisement which saw some students as volunteers who helped pull their department mates and to the event the music was beautiful as the DJ for the day kept playing contemporary Nigerian music that made the crowd dance.

The games continued there were lots of side attractions also as each of the brands had gifts for participants high point of the day was the singing competition and dance battle which were organised by SOUNDCITY .

DAY 3

Friday being the last day of accademic activities for the week lectures are quickly brought to an end by 12noon whic gave ample time for everyone who wanted to be at the event time to and by this time all the advertisment mediums had being moved to the front and surrounding areas of the ceremonial building .

The hall was beautifully decorated and lit up with different lightings to suit the event in no time the hall was packed full and the event began there was a lsoba cooking competition organised by Indomie in which winners also had gifts

The event was graced by some of Nigeria's fine contemporary music artist such as T classic, and Skiibil miss Banks and Mr pheeles as the event began to unfold winners of the dance competition were given an opportunity to perform and that performance would be on sound city channel .

The winner of the singing competition gets to perform with one of Nigeria's fine artist; Skiibil's, performance was beautiful and it was fun T classic also got to wow the crowd as well as the other guest artist who were present and the energy was real and we had fun as we sang and danced and snapped photographs.

The event was an overall success as the weather was friendly for the three days and the event actually gave students the leasure to relax and shake off the stress of accademic activities and I wanna give a big shout the SOUNDCITY and the organisers of the event the time spent was worth it thank you for taking time to read this see you on my next post
