Halwa Puri | A Traditional Dish

I woke up very late in the morning around 9:00 am today because i slept very late at night. As soon as i woke up my sister said to me that she wanted to eat Halwa Puri. It was looking like the family was waiting for me to wake up so that they can have something in breakfast. They had already decided that they will eat Halwa puri in breakfast.

As Halwa puri is also my favourite dish in breakfast so I quickly went to the nearby Shop and bring the Halwa Puri along with Chanay for me and my family. There were three people already waiting for their order. When i came back home with Breakfast, the homemade lassi was ready as its a must drink with Halwa Puri.

In the above picture you can see the complete breakfast menu. It includes Halwa Puri , Chanay and lassi. It was so much delicious. Only lassi was homemade and rest of the items were bought from the hotel.

In the above picture ,it is called Halwa which is made of sooji ,oil and sugar. This is a unique type of dish which is widely popular in asian countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and india.

In the above picture we call this Puri in local language ,this is made of white flour and is very delicious. This also looks like a chapati.

The above picture includes Chana which is also popular here and is ate with the Puri. Some people like Halwa Puri and some like Chana Puri. I like both chana and puri with Halwa.

In the end ,here is the lassi which is a must drink when we have halwa puri at the table. Lassi is made of curd and is very popular drink in the breakfast.

My sister is married in another city , she came to visit us with her baby girl since one week. We are having good time. So it was a nice gathering while having breakfast.
