Wildflower Walk
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to appreciate the beauty that is wildflowers when out on a nice walk!
Wildflower Walk
This walk is one of the rare scenarios where I didn't have my wife nor my son with me on the adventure. It was a shame but the circumstances were appropriate for it, so I had to make due with the situation that I did. It turned out to be quite a beautiful place to go wandering around! I will certainly bring my son back here, not sure if my wife will be interested in joining us at the moment but she may!
The field was one where I did a cleanup of a nearby park as a volunteer event. I haven't done one of these before but I'm a big proponent of keeping these wild places as clean as possible and free from trash and just human junk. So I opted for it! The place was really beautiful and there were these cool aspects to it here, such as this little brook which led to the area I landed. It was very "Lion, Witch and Wardrobe"-esque! I felt like I was going through a portal of some sort, it was really cool lol
A short distance past the little brook it opened out into this really wonderful and large field. It has all kinds of beautiful flowers everywhere! I don't know if someone came here and just threw a bunch of seeds out to see what would grow, and the plants took it from there but there were at least half a dozen different beautiful flower species all over the place! I know that most fields you have some of the common ones, ones I don't really even know the name but definitely know the look of them. This species here was remarkable and I don't know the name of it but I loved the flowers and look of it!
The white flowers here are ones that I am fairly certain are pretty common but they are great looking flowers, so there isn't any downside from calling them common in my book! I like how they are simple and elegant looking.
There was certainly some good colors on these flowers! I don't know what type of seeds that were thrown out in the area but the pinks and reds are some of my favorites because they are not incredibly common where we live, so it's always nice to see them when you're out. I don't think these are the similar or same flowers as the one two above but it's possible. I still enjoyed how wild it looked though, it looks like you're looking into a jungle or something! I don't think I even really had to stoop down to get this photo, the flowers were pretty damn tall from what I can remember lol. They certainly were enjoying all of the rain we've been getting, it's given them a considerable boost that's for sure!
My favorite though is looking out onto the wide expanse of the field and seeing all of the different and wonderful flower varieties that are all over the place. I know that I will be back to this place to not just show the little man but to also give it a nice walk around again. I'm sure in the sunshine this place is really beautiful, the clouds weren't the best but they did keep the temperature down which is important, especially if you're doing work out in the fields like we were doing here!
This was such a nice walk and refreshing recharge to my batteries. I love getting to experience new and beautiful places, particularly ones that are relatively close to where we live so we don't have to go nuts trying to find the escapes!

Hello, are these photos taken with a cell phone? Because they are impressive. You have captured the beauty of these flowers. I tried to do it with my cell phone, but they don't look very good. How nice was your walk, nothing better than connecting with nature on the road. Great stuff!...
Yeah they were taken with a newer cell phone. My old phone won't take pictures of this quality lol. Thanks! It is wonderful to see these places when we are out!
It's amazing how tall they grew, as if they were reaching for the heavens. The abundant rain seems to have provided them with a much-needed boost, resulting in their thriving beauty. Your photo captures their vibrancy perfectly. Thank you for sharing this wonderful sight with us!
Yeah the rain has indeed helped keep the flowers growing constantly that's for sure! I love how tall they grow as well, I want to visit here at the end of the summer to see how it's improved!
I know some love well maintained gardens but for me wild flowers just growing and going there own way are so beautiful as you showed here
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
Yeah for sure I prefer the wildflowers!
The photos you shared are beautiful, and I love the variety of flowers that you saw. The white flowers are definitely common, but they're so elegant and simple that they're always a pleasure to see. And the pink and red flowers are stunning! I love how they look like they're from a different world.
I'm glad that you had such a nice walk, and I'm sure you'll enjoy going back to the field with your son. It sounds like a great place to explore and recharge.
Yeah my son is already asking for me to take him lol he's mainly interested in the wild berries that this place offered lol but the flowers are also wonderful! I'm a big fan of the white ones!
