Hive Power Up and Sponsor
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I'm here with the Twentieth iteration (can't believe it's been 20 already!) of my "Power Up & Sponsor" initiative! I will try to be doing these monthly, to both join in on the Power Up day festivities but also to add my own flavor to it that I think would be great if more could join in!

Power Up!
I would be remiss to not join in on the power up myself! Below is me adding some more Hive Power to my total, although not a whole lot considering previous power ups, I'm still glad to have been able to do it! I will certainly be trying to increase my power more but I also have other plans for my investments that I'm trying to achieve so I will take the small gains when I can and the big gains when I can as well!

Thank you so much! I am really enjoying HIve! I am still trying to soak up as much as I can and will be blogging more. I do enjoy interacting and meeting people. It is amazing how many people from all walks of life are here. It is awesome.
You're welcome! It’s a huge and complex place but it gets better over time. Once you get past the initial learning curve you then just learn small things every day or few days and are able to build upon the good base. I’m glad you’re here with us! I like that there are great quality people all over the place, always something new!

Hey mate, I saw your signature with Presearch: is it actually a good alternative? On Reddit, people usually say that it's a scam, that you need to wait a whole year before withdrawing the crypto, etc. Would like to hear your opinion and experience.

Presearch is both good and bad. It depends on what your goals are with crypto. If you are one to constantly play the market with any tokens you earn, it’s not the token for you. You need to have 1,000 tokens from searching in order to withdraw. You can get 30 paid searches a day max and it takes time to earn them for sure.
What works for me though is I modify my daily routine a little bit. Instead of looking at the weather app, I search via Presearch to check the weather. If I’m looking to head over to hive, I’ll search PeakD instead of just typing the address in my browser. Simple modifications of your daily routine like that pays off with some crypto. If you have a particularly curious day like for work or something, you can earn some good tokens for it all!
Referrals certainly help a lot. If you can get people to sign up and use you as the referral, they get 25 PRE tokens for free and when they hit 50 tokens via searches you get 25 PRE tokens as a reward yourself. It all adds up!
For me though, it’s one of the tokens I’m going to HODL for a while. I don’t need to sell it so I don’t mind earning it slowly over time. It really picks up when you can get some decent referral numbers!
Then there’s keyword staking which is awesome and going to revolutionize the internet searches and paid advertisement I think. That’s a whole other can of wax to look into.
So overall, it depends on what you’re into. If you want to take some traffic away from the evil entity G(o)ogle [no Search engine points for them in that one!] and earn some tokens for it to hold for a while, give it a try. If you just want to cash everything out as soon as possible, it’s not the token for you.

You're welcome! I haven't quite figured out their search engine but they usually give good results. Sometimes it's a little weird. For example, searching for PeakD will usually give you the PeakD website as one of the top results but occasionally for a few days here and there every month or two, it won't include PeakD in the top results at all. In fairness, there are a bunch of other things that are quite popular with the starting word "peak" so it might just get confused. Leo finance works great among most everything else.
