My first time participating in the HIVE Power Up Day. I honestly can't wait to see the badge that I will receive. The HIVE that I used to power up is from the rewards that I got from blogging and some starbits that I earned from @risingstargame.

Rising Star has been one of my favorite games in the HIVE blockchain, it gave me so much fun and a lot of meaningful connection with the community. It is a free-to-play-to-earn game that showcases indie music artists. It is made for musicians and music lovers alike.

Thanks to Rising Star I managed to build my portfolio and I am introduced to amazing people like @stickupboys, @pixiepost, @tdctunes, @newenx, @ravenmus1c, and so many more!

I can't wait for what tomorrow can offer. I am happy with what HIVE has done to my life. Huge shoutout to @forkyw and the @atexoras.pub for inviting me to Power-up today.

The Process

I converted the tokens I need to SWAP.HIVE and used https://leodex.io (@leodex) to process the transfer to my wallet.

To transfer you SWAP.HIVE to HIVE you need to withdraw it. Click withdraw on your wallet in leodex and a popup window will show up like this.

Choose how much SWAP.HIVE you want to convert to HIVE. (in the screenshot I don't have any SWAP.HIVE on my wallet hehe -- poor garlic)

and because I want to make this a little bit complicated I went to https://peakd.com/@cmmndrbawang/wallet

Clicked on the dropdown option button (if that's what you call it) then click POWER UP (POWAAAAAAAAA!)

Input the desired HIVE amount that you want to use to power up and then confirm the transaction.

Booooom baby! you have now completed your very first HIVE power-up!
