How are y'all doing today?

No matter how you feel, the most important thing is that we are all still alive. In fact, the most important aspect of life is....... life, very mystifying and magnificent phenomenon. Let's all hope that we continue to be alive until we eventually get what we all are in pursuit for, although I must warn you that not all of us would - complexity is to be blamed. Given that this is established, I guess it's safe to proceed with what life has to offer in this moment of reading this blog and you know what that is. If you are still clueless, then I believe this 👇 would help.

Oldest known animal sex chromosome evolved in octopuses 380 million years ago

In the animal kingdom we all have sex chromosomes, genetic materials that help determine if we are male or female. For we humans, males are characterized by X and Y chromosomes while the females are characterized by two X chromosomes but did you know that there are other kinds of sex chromosomes (that is not X or Y) ?
You definitely wouldn't find them in humans and it appears there's one that is much older than all others. Do you wish to......continue reading. But hold on for a minute.........what if we had those, would there be a new kind of sex? 🤔

There's a Surprisingly Simple Way to Remove Microplastics From Your Drinking Water

When we drink water that comes from the taps of our homes, we risk taking in very small substances that can affect our health. These substances are living (germs) and also non-living, are you wondering what the non-living substance is?

Don't worry......I'm not going to tell you. 🤭

It's already very obvious but if you are still clueless then I suggest you wait for the right moment. However, there seems to be an effective and common method that can eliminate both kinds of substances and it's none other than.....keep reading. Did I forget to mention that we just passed the right moment. 😉

Scientists develop new method for producing lithium-ion batteries using peanut shells

Do you know the kind of battery that your phone uses ?

Yes, thank you - for those that know. So it happens that scientists wants to improve it using the shell of groundnut/peanut. That must seem weird mostly because the shells look useless - we normally discard them after we've gotten the nut they contain. Also, they don't seem to be conductors, so what exactly are scientists using them to improve in the battery ?

Interesting question and the reason is .......continue reading. Whoever doesn't believe in sorcery haven't heard about "natural sorcery", and yes I just invented the name. 🤭

Not just humans: Bees and chimps can also pass on their skills

We (humans) seem to be special but to what extent ?

We tend to overestimate certain of our abilities compared to other living organisms in the animal kingdom. In this report we are going to learn that a certain attribute which has helped us build the society we have today can also be found in other animals (though not all). What then must be this special attribute ?

Trust me, you do not want to not.....continue reading. A gentle reminder that education is itself beyond school. 😉

Could the gut give rise to alcohol addiction?

Certain bad conditions can lead us to resort to the use of certain substances to console ourselves or seek comfort. Substances such as alcohol, hard drugs, e.t.c, and if care isn't taken it may lead to misuse and addiction. Could that really be the case ?

It would seem like we have the will to control our urges but we often forget that we are ourselves made up of other tiny microorganisms of which possesses their own kind of will. This report seems to be suggesting that certain organisms in our gut (digestive tract/intestinal tract) may also be responsible for.....keep reading. Imagine taking antibiotics to cure alcoholism. 😉

It is here we conclude today's report, have a thoughtful day and till i come your way again next week.
