From now on

I tried to mentally review everything that has happened to me up until 2023. Unfortunately, the first thing that came to mind were all the mistakes I made. Yes, I did questionable things. Yes, I lost sight of myself for a while. I learned even when I wasn't ready to. And it hurt.

But hey, was that really the only thing? No, not at all. This year, my goal was to grow, and I achieved that. I'm just starting to understand that I haven't yet achieved the consistency I think I should have, but one cannot rely on "shoulds" and must adapt to the actual facts.

This year, I returned to the gym without fail, and in a short time, I saw real results. I was able to develop as an artist in many aspects. I became more involved in the cultural life of my city and my country. I took many courses, workshops, and attended conferences. I participated in several festivals and was able to learn from specialists in various fields. That also helped me to start being recognized as a young artist, and that was the encouragement I needed to start working seriously.

But most importantly, I was able to connect with wonderful people. Each one of them has been a reflection of all the things I can improve on as a human being. To all of you, thank you very much. I love you all, very much.

Lastly, but not least, I believe it's time to dedicate myself seriously to myself. So, from now on, I am the one who matters. See you in 2024.

A partir de ahora

Intenté hacer un repaso mental de todas las cosas que me han sucedido hasta el 2023. Lamentablemente, lo primero que vino a mí fueron todos los errores que cometí. Sí, hice cosas cuestionables. Sí, me desconocí a mí mismo por un tiempo. Aprendí incluso cuando no estaba preparado para hacerlo. Y dolió.

Pero, hey, ¿realmente eso fue lo único? No, en lo absoluto. Este año me había propuesto crecer, y eso logré. Recién entiendo que todavía no logro la consistencia que creo que debo tener, pero uno no puede fiarse de los "debería" sino acoplarse a los hechos reales.

Este año regresé al gimnasio sin faltas y en poco tiempo vi resultados reales. Este año pude desarrollarme como artista en muchos aspectos. Me uní mucho más a la vida cultural de mi ciudad y mi país. Me instruí en muchos cursos, talleres, conferencias. Estuve en varios festivales y pude nutrirme de especialistas de muchos muchísimos ámbitos. Eso me ayudó también a comenzar a ser reconocido como artista joven, y era ese incentivo que necesitaba para comenzar a trabajar seriamente.

Pero lo más importante, pude conectar con personas maravillosas. Cada una de ellas ha sido un reflejo de todas las cosas en las que puedo mejorar como ser humano. A todos ustedes, muchas gracias. Los amo, mucho.

Por último, pero no menos importante, creo que es momento de dedicarme seriamente a mí. Así que, a partir de ahora, soy yo quien importa. Nos vemos en el 2024.
