We are now in the hottest month, when most people stop for a well-deserved rest and maybe take a well-deserved holiday in a seaside or mountain location, or simply a walk in one of the many historic centres. For others, like me, this month will continue to be a working month, including next week, with the exception of the August 15 holiday.

This year I have decided to divide the holidays between the beginning of summer (June), some days in September and others at the end of October, coinciding with my birthday. In fact, the summer holidays have already lost their charm for me for some years, too much chaos, often instead of relaxing instead I was nervous.

So for some time now we have decided to seasonally adjust our holidays and enjoy a better, less crowded climate at cheaper costs. Someone calls them intelligent holidays, I think it simply depends on one's mood. When I was younger I loved crowded places, now however, together with my family we prefer to fully enjoy the places we visit.

However, I don't mind participating in city festivals, on the other hand, these are unique days with a great tradition, so this small sacrifice is certainly worth it 😁

Ormai siamo nel mese più hot, quando gran parte delle persone si fermano per un meritato riposo e magari si concedono ferie meritate in location di mare o di montagna, o semplicemente una passeggiata in uno dei tanti centri storici. Per altri, come me, questo mese continuerà ad essere lavorativo, anche la prossima settimana ad esclusione della festività di Ferragosto.

Quest'anno ho deciso di dividere le ferie tra l'inzio dell'estate (mese di giugno), alcuni giorni di settembre e altri a fine ottobre, in concomitanza con il mio compleanno. In effetti, le vacanze estive già da qualche anno hanno perso fascino per me, troppo chaos, spesso piuttosto che rilassarmi invece ero nervoso.

Allora già da un po' abbiamo deciso di destagionalizzare le nostre ferie e goderci un clima migliore, meno affollato e a costi più economici. Qualcuno le chiama vacanze intelligenti, io credo dipenda semplicemente dal proprio stato d'animo. Quando io ero più giovane amavo i luoghi affollati, ora invece, assieme alla mia famiglia preferiamo goderci appieno i luoghi che visitiamo.

Non mi dispiace però partecipare alle feste cittadine, d'altronde so tratta di giornate uniche e di grande tradizione per cui vale certamente questo piccolo sacrificio 😁
